Kaycee Crosby-Smith: My family and I loved our suite and the breakfast was really good. They were still renovating the lobby area when we were there. The pool was closed. I rated them four stars because they were not accommodating when we were promised accommodations. We were promised roll out beds if needed but when we checked in we were told that they don’t know who promised that but they no longer have roll out beds. To top it off we had drove very far and kindly asked the female receptionist on duty that day for a hour early checkin, we were refused so then we decided to ask again 30 minutes prior to check-in and not only were we told no but the receptionist was so rude and nasty when I asked any question about the room. Her answers were short with me, no smile, not friendly or welcoming at all. So that encounter was certainly not what I expected as a rewards member so for that reason I give them a 4 out of 5.
Jeffrey C. Smith: It’s under renovation- construction (mid June 2023) and not a pleasant place to stay. See photos. No reason they could not have put this fact that they were not functional on their website. Not worth the couple of hundred dollar price with tax and with a AAA discount for a 1 bedroom per night. Marriotts are usually excellent in my experience.
No Name: I love staying at Marriott and especially At residents inns , however this time I didn’t have the best experience . We paid a lot of money for just one night , we was told that there is no late check out because the board is full which is crazy because we called at 8 am and we were only asking for an hour more to just rest up and collect ourselves, it was 11:10 and they came knocking on the door with an attitude then called the room saying do we need to stay another night , the staff is so rude at the front desk , they treat you based on your Marriott status.

Trina Park: I had specifically requested a non-smoking room. When we got to the room, it smelled really strongly of smoke! I walked to the bathroom where the cockroach skittered across the floor. The room was in need of deep cleaning, but the beds and bathroom were surface clean. In spite of cigarette burns all along the tub. I would’ve ignored the need of a deep clean and some minor repairs but I had specifically asked for a non-smoking room so I went back and refused the room. She offered to get me another room, but stated first, that was definitely the non-smoking side, which led me to believe I might not have much luck with the next room. I refused to look at a new room, not wanting to waste anymore time and asked for a charge back to my card. She stated she was unable to do that. A manager had to do it in the morning. I called repeatedly the next morning, and was never able to speak to the manager. I have taken this up with my credit card company I was charged by this location, even though I never spent the night there

Damon Smith: Arrived at 9p for a single night stop. Took a while to get just one of our rooms - we go there to wait on the second room and we can't get in. Trudge back to the lobby where the fix our cards and give us the second room. Room card #1 still doesn't work and room #2 smells of cigarette smoke. So much for non-smoking rooms. Go back to the lobby. Get a new room and they manage to get us in the room that doesn't open, only it too smells of cigarette smoke. Kids get frightened by a dog on the second floor that's just walking around with no leash. Settle into the room and find missing lightbulbs, broken dead bolt, and a bathroom fans don't work. I can't even call this a cheap place to just sleep because you can't sleep. You can hear everything. Then you get a lovely wake-up call from a diesel truck at 5:30a. Since we're up, we just leave. Stop by for the continental breakfast and surprise, suprise - there is no breakfast. There's two other hotels literally down the street, stay there. Don't stay here.

Paul G: Easily one of the worst hotel stays I've ever experienced.To start, when we arrived and checked into our room we discovered the heavy entertainment center in the living room was broken and barely standing with the assistance of a footstool. The back of the entertainment center was completely detached from the legs.After reporting to the front desk, we were told that there were no managers on duty and that they were instructed not to bother the managers with any phone calls. The front desk seemed largely lost and not knowing what to do. The living room was unusable due to the safety risk of the entertainment center collapsing.After ordering room service and eating for the evening, Roaches were found throughout the hotel and really displayed the cleanliness of this hotel. I noticed throughout the hotel, they like to display a 4.9 out 5 star certificate, but based on some of the pictures, you can see just how clean this hotel really is.Upon checking out, I asked the front desk for a Manager again (he seemed irritated that I was disrupting him from watching his youtube videos on his phone) and again was told that a Manager was not available. I politely asked that one call me ASAP. I ended up having to call and speak with a manager 4 days later and they had no knowledge of my experience or request for a phone callMy recommendation, find another hotel to stay in and at minimum, DO NOT eat here
K M: The best thing about our stay was the breakfast. There were a variety of options, and the food was really good. Our room was another story. We arrived late, close to midnight, due to traveling. The linen on one of the beds was dirty, and the sheets had multiple holes. The tv remote didn’t work. These issues were presented to the front desk, and it took them way too long to correct the issues. It was 1:00am when I finally went back to the front desk to request extra assistance with getting the linen issues rectified. Housekeeping came to our room at least three times before getting the linen issues corrected. This ultimately affected my family’s ability to get as much rest as possible before we had to checkout. We presented the issues to a front desk clerk at checkout, and I requested to speak to a manager. I was informed that a manager wasn’t on duty, but my concerns would be presented to the manager. I’m extremely surprised and disappointed by the quality of our room accommodations. I don’t believe the quality was worth $226 dollars for one night.Nearby activities: The hotel is nestled away in a decent area. It’s close to the Cross Creek Mall and a wide variety of restaurants.Food & drinks: The breakfast was really good.

Jim Boman: Very nice place despite being a little overpriced if you don't use the amenities like pool or gym. The only thing that should change is that all those bringing pets should be put in a ground level room. Not dispersed all over the hotel. We were awakened 2 mornings in a row by a barking/howling/crying dog left alone in the room across the hall while its owner was out for breakfast.

My husband and I were very impressed how the employees take pride in there hotel. The cleanliness is out of this world. I never see employees just standing around doing nothing. When their not busy I really noticed that they take the time to interact and take the time to get to know the customers. We always feel welcomed from the time we arrive to the time we leave. There's wallpaper in the bathroom that looks like it's 20 years old the doors were cracked on the bottom falling apart the toilet paper rolls were falling apart the carpeting looked like it came out of the seventies the beds were hard and extremely uncomfortable. Very disappointed in this hotel. The breakfast is forgettable nothing special no effort put in to the setup at all. Definitely would never stay here again the walls were paper thin you could hear everything and everybody walking by all night long.

Katherine B: I have never been more disgusted with a hotel experience before in my life. For Hampton Inn to revenue over 6 million a year you would think they would invest some of that money into making sure management has all the training necessary to handle situations with empathy and respect irregardless of the person or situation. We dealt with a general manager, Laura, who was upset that we used a Hilton rewards discount and actually created a lot of tension due to that matter. Had she as a manager done what she was trained to do, professionally and properly, and knew that we received any discount in a way that did not abide by their hotel company’s policy at that location, then it shouldn’t have been honored since day one of check in or even day two. A simple, “I’m so very sorry but we can’t honor this discount at this hotel but we would love to still give you a room at a regular rate,” would have sufficed and not harbored any further issues. On day three of our stay me and my five year old daughter accidentally overslept past check out time and even though we were in the process of paying for another day irregardless to stay, we were woke up by Laura telling us to get out of the room as she was calling the cops on us and accusing us of not trying to pay for the room. My five year old witnessed everything and as a mother I cannot tell you how embarrassing that moment was for her to have to endure that. Once again, if you’re going to have someone represent your million dollar corporation, make sure they know how to handle and defuse a situation PROFESSIONALLY, RESPECTFULLY, AND EMPATHETICALLY. This situation was NOT handled in a professional way whatsoever. The whole situation was NOT worth traumatizing and embarrassing anyone especially when the room was paid for not even 3 minutes after I had to grab what important belongings I could grab and leave the room with my child as she told me my other belongings would be discarded. This is a management issue, and is highly inappropriate. Hampton Inn values were most definitely not represented in the way they should have and that’s a big shame on them for allowing such mistreatment from someone who represents them and handles their issues. Mistreatment in such manner is a liability and needs to be addressed and handled appropriately before any other families endure such disrespect and embarrassment.

The managers social dinner on Tuesday night was a first in all of my Hilton travels. I am a diamond member and have traveled a lot for work. I have never had a dinner for free at any Hilton Hotel. Embassy offers a snack and drink happy hour. This and the fact that they offered cookies every night of my stay. The pool was not open yet, but looked very clean for a hotel pool. This is an older property and it shows its age, but you really get more with the amount of service here. If you meet Andre, you will know. The manager was very nice as well. She works very hard to make your stay here special.

Tara Wilson: Traveling south to north on 95 and finding no rooms available the entire length of North Carolina, we were forced to go off our route into Fayetteville and were lucky to find a room available here. Unfortunately, the room was overpriced, but it was late and we didn't have another option. Room was small, queen bed felt like a double, parking lot light was very bright in room. Staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was included, however we did not partake because it didn't open until 6 and we wanted to beat the traffic.
