Alicia Marks: If I could give negative stars I would. Do not rent from this place. We booked a 3 day rental for a full sized sedan. We were assigned a white Kia Forte that was dirty with dead insects all over and had tree limbs sticking out of the grill. We asked that it be replaced because it was dirty and we’re told that was the only standard sized car left and that their water supply to wash cars wasn’t working so all of their cars were dirty. One customer service agent offered to upgrade us to a Mustang and during that process another co—worker told us that she couldn’t not upgrade us without charging us an additional $100. We were then told they found another car for us and it was a Toyota Prius. The Prius was dirty inside and outside as well and the black seats has white crusty stains on them. They continued to refuse to upgrade us after trying to downgrade from a full sized to a compact replacement and tried to convince us that the Prius was full sized, after telling us no more full sized cars were available so we cancelled.

Had been in the fast lane it would have caused a multi car pile up.When I called roadside assistance they were short and irritated by my call. I sat on the side of the highway- a single woman for hours. No one at budget cared at all. I got it towed and had to drive 90 min with a total stranger in a tow truck. The technician at drop off told me they know about the problems with the car they rented me.I’m the end I was given a 30% discount even though I missed the reason I was traveling anyway.I will NEVER go near Budget ever again.
Barbara Cropper: Arrived at FAY with a reservation for a car, however, upon arrival I was told there were no available cars and that I would need to come back the next morning. I ended up having to get a hotel plus pay for a Lyft to get me to the hotel and back to the airport, along with food for the evening. The lack of a vehicle significantly delayed my schedule and I will not do business with or recommend Budget again. If I could give zero stars, I would.

This experience was a mess on the day of pickup that resulted in me not being able to leave on the right day! Staff did keep my vehicle available for me to be able to pickup next day for which I was grateful but this rental reservation was a mess.

Zhami Towles: Reserved on Sat for pick up on Sunday. They called only 15 mins before my pick to inform me they only have 2 cars available first come first serve as they had 35 reservations. No prob. The problem came when the "manager" tried to argue with me about using my Chime Credit Card. Falsly accusing other branches of not following policy. I have used it at different rental companies as well. I know I just can't use it at an airport location, which this is not. I called the corporate number to confirm and indeed he was WRONG! They loAnd yet he still would not rent me a vehicle. From the reviews at least I didn't waste my time going there. They need to stoxp lieing to people and be honest.

Enterprise sent me to this location for my first swap out my second truck was grinding at turns due to lack of inspection by Enterprise. We reserved a vehicle over the phone to be picked up on Thursday at 4:30pm and returning it on Sunday at 10:00pm. We were never told that because they will be closed til Tuesday (since it’s memorial weekend) we would be charge for those 2 extra days. Like; why was this not told to us over the phone when we reserved it! I asked them and they acting as if they didn’t even care that they wasted our time. “Who would be OKAY with paying for 2 extra days?” It’s crazy …. No good customer service what’s so ever!!!!I would recommend going to somewhere else or the airport. They were more helpful and efficient in assisting us asap.

Cuttas Lady: The vehicle my husband reserved was not at this location even though online it said premium truck available. We rented the 2022 DodgeRAM bighorn to go to the mountains for our anniversary. One guy left this location and went to the other right down the street to get the truck. They wouldn't have gave us the truck at the price quoted online if we didn't have it reserved for a few days before getting it. Beware before going. Book online and pull up the reservation before getting there. If we didn't have it booked, they would have charged us $200 per day instead of what we seen online. Do your research and check availability, book and pay online but don't use priceline, they don't honor those prices and have a $300 security deposit readily available with a major credit card.

danielle sprott: I reserved a 7 passenger van on March 6 to be picked up on April 6. The day before the Manger calls to inform me he couldn't accommodate my reservation because they over booked. Very short notice!! I asked would I be able to get a Suburban or Tahoe he said no but I have a jeep compass. I informed him that the vehicle is to small. I then go on to ask if he could contact other locations to find me a vehicle and the answer was no, I had to find one myself. After locating another vehicle at a different location I was informed they couldn't accommodate that reservation because he canceled it and had no way to verify the price, and had to pay as if I'm doing a new reservation. He is very unprofessional, inconsiderate and need to be retrained on customer service! I did make a complaint to the regional manager and hopefully they follow up with me.

TAKE THE LOSS ON CANCELING AND GO TO ENTERPRISE.The staff doesn’t care to help, lack ANY empathy and customer service skills, and then they charge random bullsh*t when you pick the rental up. Be ready to spend ANOTHER $200-500 your visit picking up because they need it hold for up to 10 days AFTER you drop your rental off even though they have a card on file. “Cause of covid” as the manger would say, he might consider finding a new excuse that’s actually realistic nowadays.Appreciate the full attitude from the manager on top of my beyond stressful visit, who apparently doesn’t have his staff on the same page after the manager decided he wasn’t going to use the card I gave him that his staff was okay using (same card as the rental). Lack of leadership and ability to have a team on the same page here is very clearly shown the second you walk in.I can say the shuttle drivers, parking lot staff and the exit gate staff are SO SO sweet and patient! They’d all be better off being the inside staff so they can let the employees with real customer service work the front desk

Iristeen Smith: Long post.I have been renting from Hertz for a few years and have never been so disgusted with any location until I went to the location on RAEFORD ROAD. Back in February I rented a car from this location. What should have been a warning sign when I walked in was the attitude of the Representative. Attitude was quite rude and short but I still continued to be polite and courteous. I took it as she was tired and ready to leave being that it was almost closing. The car that she gave was nice and clean. I picked the car up on Friday evening almost near closing time. I returned the car back on Monday before 5 pm.The Representative came out and inspected and told me I was good to go. Well before I got home which, I live less than 15 mins away I received notice on my phone that there was action on my card. I look and see that the Representative from the location had charged my card 25 dollars. I called and asked why and the representative told me that it was because the car was an hour late. I asked how can that be being that it was almost near closing when I picked it up and before 5 returned. I told her that it wasn't the fact that I was charged $25 but the fact before I left the location she told me everything was good to go but yet she charged my card with out informing me. So I asked to speak with her manager. She tells me she is busy and would call me back. Well after not receiving a call back in a reasonable amount of time I call back and the person who answered says she was the DM for the area. Well long story short she was more rude than the Representative. After going back and forth she did say she would refund my 25. And I told her I would be reaching out to Corporate. Spoke with them and they basically said nothing they could do bc location was a licensee/franchise so they could not even see into their system but offered me $50 certificate good towards a future rental. (But being that I cannot rent how will I use it.)All well and dandy you say. well not so fast. This week I went on the Hertz website to secure a rental for my niece's graduation in TAMPA this weekend and did so. WELL yesterday around 1230 I received a call from a GSP TRANSPORTATION and it was the same Representative from Hertz telling me that I would not be able to rent from the Raeford Road or Airport locations. What an inconvenience. I googled GSP TRANSPORTATION and found no contact information. Call back the number that was listed on my phone and asked the rep for her name and the name of someone in charge. She refuses to give her name but gives me LYSSA JACOBS DIRECTOR OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. Called and no answer.She even says it's ok to text but she does not respond.HERTZ/GSP TRANSPORTATION YOU NEED TO WORK ON CLEANING UP YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Poor customer services can be the beginning of the end of your business.

Montana Lowery: This place is a joke!! I reserved a rental through a third party site for a discounted price and received a confirmation from Hertz! When I arrived to pick up the rental, I was told they don't honor outside discounted prices and that rentals should be booked directly through the Hertz website. If that's so, then why did they send me a confirmation after using a third party site to book? They refused to give any discount or honor the reserved price, so I had to pay full price because I didn't have time to look anywhere else. Today I return the vehicle with a full tank of gas as I agreed to. After leaving, I get an email with a receipt of additional charges and NO EXPLANATION! I had to call the corporate office to get the correct number because the phone number on the receipt is apparently an old phone number. 30 minutes later, I'm connected to the local office to find out that they charged me extra because the gas tank wasn't full. I specifically looked at it again, before I got out to return the vehicle and it was definitely on FULL! I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!

My rental was through my insurance but they kept trying to charge my card every week despite my insurance company extending the rental. The girl at the office said just bc they extended it doesn’t mean they agree to pay for it- but like my adjuster told me that is exactly what it means why would they extend and not pay? The manager Kathleen Osorio for the Fayetteville branch has no business being a manger and lies like it’s nobodies business. Gave me an invoice for almost $900 with no description of charges and when I asked her to list the charges out individually she refused to do so but is certain they are valid. Just go to enterprise and save your self the headache.
Paris: Booked car 2 weeks in advance, received a call the day of pick up stating the SIZE vehicle I want is not available so I was upgraded to a larger SUV (meaning it cost me more GAS…no discount like other rentals). I get to the office 9 mins past my appointment and of course they were helping others but DEDRA began making loud SHOUTS of outburst due to a claim she was working on. She went outside with a customer and continued to shout very loudly in agony of doing her job. My representative was the little person who wasn’t friendly and talks like she had mush in her mouth; said she inspected the car I was good to go- I proceeded to do a walk around anyway. First this an ENTIRE BIRD hanging out the grill of the vehicle, feathers everywhere! After she cleaned that I left because I was in my lunch and it took them 15 min to start servicing me. Drove off and continued on my way Only to look back and see the vehicle was FILTHY. After reporting this to DEDRA she didn’t acknowledge anything I said nor apologize. I do not recommend and definitely won’t come back to this location with ghetto behaviors and a lack of professionalism and empathy

When I walked in the agent said he was trying to contact me all morning as he had no Full Size cars. I never received a call and when I later checked no email either. How was he trying to contact me? Not having the right car class is no problem. This occurs all the time with all rental companies.My reservation was for $217 a day one way rental full sized. Without telling me he was going to up-charge he changed my rate to $247 and a $10 upgrade fee to put me in a Nissan Kicks. Look it up tiny, economy SUV for a long distance drive. The car smelled of smoke and the tank was 3/4 even though he marked it full. He had a Nissan Rogue available and put me in the Kicks.LYING AND UP-CHARGING WITHOUT DISCLOSING THE UP-CHARGE IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE. STAY AWAY...

N DAVIS: Spent more than 5hrs trying to get a tire replaced or a replacement vehicle. I called the company and informed them that the tire cap was missing and that I had an issue with the tire. They informed me to put air in the tire. I called the next day for a replacement vehicle no replacement at the time and that I should put air in the tire or take it to the tire shop. I went into the office 5304 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304 and waited for more than two hours to get the branch manager. The site manager and the employees did not work as a team and each person gave a different solution to the problem at hand. I clearly showed the pictures from when we pick the car up that the tire was extremely low and missing a tire cap. They told me to go to the tire shop and get it fixed or I would be billed for a new tire after returning the car. I went to the tired shop and showed them the pictures from the rental pick up and they told me they could tell there was a problem with the tire. After the inspection the tire had several nails and was previously repaired. The tire shop called many times and didn’t get an answer and the operator disconnected there call three times. The tire shop they used said they would take care of the tire and complain to Hertz. I just can’t believe the lack of communication, respect and customer service with the Hertz located at 5304 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304.This is my first and LAST experience with HERTZ EVVVVVVER !
Faith Harris: So we rented a car for my moms birthday trip. We reserved a mid size sedan…like a Malibu. When we got there he said that they don’t have that size vehicle to give us. Offered a smaller car…similar to a Chevy Spark. it was a HUGE difference in size. They took $16 off the price. he pulls the car around and its even smaller than we expected, Stuart littles car was bigger than this thing. Once outside, behind the building were atleast 15 cars (sedans, truck, etc) The manager, I believe his name was Chris. Caucasian heavy set guy. we questioned why we couldn’t use one of the cars in the back and he said they were for reservations. We told him we had reservations as well, he said well how would you feel if you put a reservation in months in advance and then didn’t have the car you reserved and I honestly can’t believe he said that…then he said well I could’ve just told u we don’t have any cars…although we made a reservation just like every one else and we were there at 8 AM might I add. I was livid with the treatment we received and his rude nonchalant comments. If we weren’t pushed for time we wouldve went to enterprise. I will never recommend or use Hertz again due to this manager.

Luis Morales: Made a reservation through Expedia for a Convertible mustang or similar 2 weeks ahead of time. They didn't have anything similar. They gave me a beat up Audi that clearly was a smokers car.

m k: Worst experience I've ever had at a rental car and I rent 6+ times a year. I booked a rental car through Alamo at FAY airport, to land and be told they don't have any cars for me. If I wanted another car I had to pay $100 more than I already booked for. For such a small airport, this is quite the little scam they have thought up. The people are unwilling to help. Never again.
Les Parks: Wonderful staff and very easy to return the car. Due to Unforeseen circumstances we had to return our car back to a different Location. Triney, was wonderful and ensured that our turn-in would be smooth. She is fantastic. The manager, Duncan Lewis was standing near there and didn't even question her. They have a good team there. Any Issues are with the airport and the construction (which happens). Overall, I have been extremely pleased with Alamo.

So when I called and explained, they said no problem, we will call you within 30 minutes and you can exchange the vehicle at the airport. Awesome, trip still on schedule. Two hours later, I call back and still no vehicle to swap. They expedited my call to a specialist who then transferred me to roadside assistance??? After explaining the situation a third time, he asked me to drive to Wilmington, NC to swap the vehicle. That is two hours away from where I was currently located. Four hour turn and burn all together. After I explained that wasn’t possible. I was already delayed in leaving for a non-refundable family trip at Snowshoe Resort. The roadside assistance rep then said he would have a vehicle from Wilmington delivered to me and they would swap it out at my location. 1 hour later a tow truck pulls up, with no swap out vehicle. After speaking with the tow trick driver, I decided to send him on his way bc I didn’t want to be left without a vehicle. It was now 2130 at night and getting late. I had to have a 4x4 vehicle to get to the resort. So I called again and spoke with another rep who explained there was no vehicle coming from Wilmington and no vehicle swap planned. Really? After learning I couldn't get another vehicle that night, I cleaned the inside of the vehicle for 2 hours. At least made it bearable inside so my family could ride to the resort. Upon turn-in I called and spoke with a rep explaining this is not the service I paid for. He said they would either give me a full credit for the week or for a future rental. I told him this rental would be nice. Long story short, they didn’t compensate me for anything and hit my card for over the amount. Never again. Lessons learned.

G Banks: The gentleman on shift when I arrived was rude and did not understand he could not be heard behind the counter with a mask on, in an airport. When told of the miscommunication he did nothing to rectify the situation or to speak louder. In fact, in the midst of him helping me and what I assume was based on an observation of my frustration, a coworker suggested to take over and for him to clock off.Which I agree was the best.As for the car, there was no inspection to ensure that the vehicle was checked for dings scratches or marks. The lady who helped me after the gentleman clocked off, who was very professional and receptive, told me to ensure there was no smoking in the vehicle. Upon entering the vehicle, you could smell the stench of cigarettes and there was even tobacco guts located in the center console. The vehicle was not washed at all and still had dirt from the previous renter in the back seats. Overall horrible experience. Will not be renting from them again.

I reserved a vehicle a day ahead of arriving in Fayetteville and when I got there I was told that they only had one vehicle and it was almost 3 times the price of the original reservation. And to add insult to injury, they charged me $50 for nothing. If you want a car from here you have to come and rent it in person DO NOT RELY ON RESERVATION!

He was rude and made smart comments. He had zero customer service skills in regards to me or the other customers he “assisted”. He clearly did not like his job and made sure we were all aware of it by his attitude. This was at the Fayetteville airport in N.C a few weeks ago. The guy didn’t even have on a mask. My next rental out of that airport will not be with Alamo.
Raykard Tedtaotao: Price was great but it was dirty inside. Who drove it last didn’t bother to clean after themselves. My family had to wiped the entire inside and rear wiper was not working. It was broken. I cleaned and vacuum it better before I return the van. Much cleaner than I received it.

The person who rear ended me had insurance and that insurance accepted liability and agreed to pay. Alamo is refusing to send them the documents they requested so that they can pay the bill. Instead alamo request that insurance company send a denial of payment and alamo is harrassing me and trying to get me to pay for it, an accident i did not cause. All they have to do is send over an itemized estimate of damage and statefarm would pay them. Oh and the company they supposedly used to fix the car doesnt even have a phone number listed on theur invoice or website.... that alone screams shady!

If your complaint is legitimate and you have all the paperwork to show where Alamo is wide off the mark, Alamo will make it right and retain your business. I will use Alamo again. Thank you Alamo customer service for your patience, and for following through the case until the satisfactory end.Fayetteville airport Alamo gave me a car with expired tag. The officer at Bragg pointed it out to me. When I finally exchanged the car at Atlanta airport, I was given a car without full gas tank. I made the check-out staff document it on the paperwork. When I returned it to Fayetteville alamo, the staff nonchalantly told me I should have just kept driving the car with EXPIRED TAG. Staff would not give me refund for the days I couldn't drive the car because it was ILLEGAL to drive and I did not want to get a ticket. Not only no refund given, I saw on bank statement my card got charged one day (JAN 14) after I returned it. No reason given. If it's for gas, the receipt from Atlanta showed it WAS NOT full and I brought it to the staff attention. I am furious as It's been poor customer service from Alamo through and through. Please inspect your car thoroughly not just for damages but the tag too.

This was my favorite place to get rentals from until now .after the no response I still had the rental for three days it was the weekend Monday I would pay them for the days and return the car after finding out that I could put zero down on a vehicle I said forget the rental I will clean it up and drop it off . Today there were two men in Illinois tags sitting outside my house .mind you I work everyday 11:00am to 1:00am have a 10 year old that gets on the bus at 6 as well .I woke up at 1:30 in the afternoon rushed out the house to find these men ready to tow the car I had been paying for for a month straight.i never got a phone call or email they just showed up at my house .It was very uncomfortable had I not looked at the man shirt and read it I definitely would've had to defend myself.i will not rent or recommend this place again and I've been renting from the since 18 I am 31 now ... I gave them the keys and took my shoes and makeup bag and went in my house just as peaceful I'm definitely a great on time paying customer just won't go to them anymore....

Lou Lon: This location didnot allow me to rent a car bc my address did not match my drivers license. What does my address have to do with me renting a car. The first time I came to this location which was last year I was not asked to provide a utility bill showing my address. I even provided my registration that clearly shows address. I will never come here again.
Rose Townsend: The reservation for a 15 passenger van reserved over a year prior to the date and confirmed twice that same week before the pickup time to be ready for a group vacation. On the morning when I arrived to pickup the van, I was told that they did not have an available van or comparable vehicle and reservations are not gauranteed. No one called befrore hand to inform that the van had been rented out to someone else. This inconsideratation left a group of disappointed people without transportation as there were no other vans available in the city to accomodate the group size at that time. I have rented from Enterprise many, many times and an Enterprise Plus member, yet was not treated as a valued customer, I feel. So lesson learned, when making a rental reservation with them, although "reserved", its not a gaurantee that you will receive a rental, no matter how far in advance you make the reservation. I can no longer Trust Enterprise for my car rentals as they stated although reserved, a rental vehicle availablility is not a gaurantee. Plus a lack of courtesy. Last question, what's the definition of "reserved"? (kept especially for a purpose or person) I will utilize another rental company who understands this definition and adheres to it.
Latrice Pack: My review is long overdue😭😭.So, I was hit in December and put in a rental from here. I lost the card with the names of the two men that helped me, but the process was easy got into a car I really liked. Then basically the same day I was hit from behind in the rental hadn't even had it for a week. Drove the car back and was put into a really nice 2023 Camry the car selections are very nice. Everyone was very professional and polite answered any and every question I had.They also aren't very bad on answering the phone which is a plus. The black man that gives out the rides is pretty cool as well as the manager. If you're on Ramsey side and need a rental I do recommend coming here. Had the last rental for I think a month and a half might've been longer.

Oregon Duck: STOP! Do not rent a car from here!!-If you use a debit card, they take the entire rental amount PLUS the deposit directly from your account. Then they send you a REFUND for your deposit...which takes 5-7 business days to process.-For Credit Cards, they simply take and then release an authorization...quick and easy.-They don't take debit cards with no chip.-They don't explain ANY of this to you prior to the rental.-They did not have the car I reserved...in fact, they had very few cars at all. Apparently, they don't understand the term "reservation". Or they simply don't care.-The wait is incredibly long...cause the front desk folks are doing everything but serve customers. They are chatting, socializing, doing inventory...all while the lobby fills up with people.
Johnny Jessup: Reservations mean nothing to this location (Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC); booked weeks in advance and then get a call minutes before pickup saying they have no vehicles. The personnel were unhelpful and apathetic. Enterprise has lost my business from this point forward.

She did not elaborate on what the issue was, only that she would not rent me a vehicle. She also implied in an overt and condescending manner that I could not afford the vehicle. A vehicle that was not what I reserved, but what they had available.The manager was aware that I was renting the vehicle as a means to commute to work, but she seemed more concerned with continuing ongoing side conversations with her employees rather than helping the customer.I've filed a complaint with Enterprise, and have since rented a vehicle from a competitor.

Abigail: Less than two days after having my rental car I received a phone call saying I need to bring in the car for an oil change to Black's Tire during weekday and service could take up to 2 hours. I was told "most people have someone pick them up so they don't have to wait". I offered to bring my car in that day to exchange because I will not be able to support changing the oil for two hours during the work week and was told that was not an option. This policy makes zero sense and is extremely inconvenient and inconsiderate of customers.

Kianna winstead: This is the absolute worst Enterprise I’ve encountered. A car wasn’t available in the morning when I initially came to pickup a car, which wasn’t a big deal. I was told a car should be ready for me around 4 or 5pm but was asked to call before I came. I called 7 times, and each time I was on hold for at least 15-20 minutes before someone picked the phone up and hung up on me EACH time I called. This is ridiculous and a poor example of the exemplary customer service you claim to provide.
