Made Alexis: If you are wanting to come to the salon to get your hair colored and or cut, this is 100% not the place to go. First of all, they lie about the prices and don’t break it down to you until they print off the form when the service is done. I asked for a partial balayage and got full highlights into my roots. I was then charged $52 for 1 inch cut off my hair. The so called stylists just add on whatever they please to your invoice so they can make more money, as I heard a few girls talking about it at the register. Management is a waste of time so don’t even bother with them. Definitely recommend getting your hair done elsewhere!
Kristina Robinson: Staff needs retraining! I asked a woman working in the hair curling section near the back stock room to help me identify which hair curler was on sale, she didn’t even look at me & responded with “Can you just look it up on the Ulta app”. No ma’am, I cant look it up on the app. I came into the store for HELP. Isn’t that what they hire & pay you for? To help customers who genuinely need your help? She responded as if it was an inconvenience for her that I was in the store looking for products. The females working at this store seem miserable, very unfriendly & uneducated on how to do their basic level job. Next time I will pay more & go to Sephora. I do not recommend this Ulta store if you actually have questions & need help with their products.

Not only did she do AMAZING, she was so friendly and great to talk to. I don’t live in town anymore and was here for a visit. I made sure to rebook as soon as I knew when I’d be back! After my second session I am even more pleased. 10/10

Kate R: On April 22nd I had my makeup done at ulta. I feared the worst when the artist was using tones that were orange and no where near my color. She claimed that contour would fix it. I contemplated writing a review for weeks. As I look at pictures of me taken at my friends wedding I just want to cry. The makeup was far worse than I could imagine. It already looked super bad and I should have washed it off. I thought maybe I was too critical because I never wear makeup. It was really bad. I will never have my makeup done here again. I was considering going to their salon for my hair but I cancelled my appointment and I won’t even give that a chance with the experience I’ve already had. The artist had already seemed upset that I was booked and she thought she was overbooked. She told me color of foundation doesn’t really matter if you contour right. I’ve never heard that before especially when the base she used was so dark for my tone.
Tayler Blanchard: everytime, it never fails that one of the staff members always treats me a type of way when i’m in the store. she always talks to and greets my girlfriend but will pretend i don’t exist. she also has harassed me, my girlfriend and my girlfriends mother, ALL on separate occasions! (it’s been at least 7 encounters that have been disrespectful and not very customer friendly). knowing that we are together, she hits on my girlfriend, running up to her mother and saying she knows her daughter and being strange. all while her mother has no clue who she is and is trying to shop in peace. i go to ulta very frequently, and it s every single time i go in and she’s working that she treats me that way. she essentially pretends she’s never seen me a day in her life. but will ask me about my girlfriend, and hit on her, telling me to tell my girlfriend that she says hey if she’s not with me. i’m very frustrated because i miss going into ulta without getting harassed or worried about this girl being abrasive towards me or my girlfriend, or really anyone that is with me! aside from that employee, i never have any problems whatsoever at this ulta!

Hope Smith: I love shopping at Sephora for their services and large variety of cosmetics. Items with a high demand, such as the Molasses Lip Lining Pencil go out of stock quickly, so there is no room for delay.
Latoya Smith: Every single trip here is a complete waste of time. Everything seems to be Out of stock always Even the testers. Save yourself time and disappointment and take the 1hr trip to Raleigh or order online.
Ashley C Thomas: Steffany was a great make up artist. I brought my mom, and grandmother in as we needed a few items preparing for an event. She had many excellent recommendations.

I wasn't sure about trying new products, they were nice enough to give me a couple of samples for me to try and a sample of what I normally buy to hold me over.

Nicole Sinclair: This morning 10/29/2022 I had the greatest experience with Rachel at the MAC counter. I needed to find the right foundation and I left extremely pleased. She used several different products and told me what each one was and how they would assist me with skin care. At the end she did not pressure on me at all to purchase additional products but because of her kindness and patience I walked away with lots of additional skin care products. If you are up in the air about MAC products go see Rachel and if she doesn’t sell you on them no one can!

Not only did they mark up the wig I got (literally 24.99 on display and 29.99 sticker put over the 24.99 sticker) but I was rung up for 15 items I only got 14 items! Kay G: I visited this store for the first time today and had a terrible experience. I went in with a notebook that had a list of the things I needed and I was looking at prices and writing them down when a woman walked towards me and asked if I needed help. I said "no, thank you" and she lingered at the end of the aisle watching me. Another woman came about a minute later and very rudely asked "what are you doing?" I said I was writing down the prices and she said "you're not allowed to do that. It violates our privacy." I then stated that I was writing down the cost to see how much everything I needed would be together and she said "ooooh" and explained this to her coworkers. I immediatley left and will not be returning.

Laura Proudfoot: Came in ready to buy a wig and the store owner women came to the back and trying to move my child out the way telling her not to touch. Thankfully I moved her first before she touched her. Now most adults would address the parent when doing so seeing i was standing right there watching. There was no sign that said don’t touch the wigs in the back. I will not be going here again.
Natisha Jenkins: The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The store is always neat, fully stocked and has lots of good varieties of your hair care needs. I love their customer rewards program.
