Ursula Shaw: I’m giving two stars because they were pleasant, but the tent that was delivered to me was FILTHY!! I wish I would have chosen the last party equipment business that I rented from. They’re a little more expensive, but definitely worth it. I’m embarrassed to have guests over, so now I need to figure out what can be done, because when I called, they were not at all helpful, just pleasant.Updated 5/15/2023-After attempting to rent another tent from the previous rental company that I used before, (it was too late as I figured it would be, but I tried anyway) I called Just Party & Equipment Rental back. I talked to Angel who was kind enough to listen to me “vent” about the filthy tent that was delivered to me. She told me to call back to speak with Don, which I have done, but was told he is out picking up rentals. I’m not sure if I will be compensated, but this is a warning, DO NOT RENT from Just Party & Equipment Rental!! Delivering inventory of this nature should not be allowed. I was told it was due to the equipment being rented out back and forth, but the items are clearly not being cleaned upon returning. If your inventory becomes worn out, then it should be replaced with new inventory. It was such an embarrassment having my guests over. I kept apologizing for the filthy tent and explaining that I was unable to get another tent from elsewhere due to the last minute request.To the business: God has blessed me tremendously! Learn to accept the truth and do better. My review was based on facts and honesty. If you have several customers stating the same thing, maybe you need to replace your inventory and stop using old, filthy equipment. God bless you!

Sheila Mendoza: DO NOT RECOMMEND BOUNCE HOUSE RENTALmy family has used this company for chair rental for years and we have never had a problem with them. This was our first time renting a bounce house and it will definitely be our last. It was extremely dirty and they claim to clean it every Tuesday, we always rent bounce houses for our kids birthday and have never experienced a bounce house this dirty. obviously i cleaned the best i could because it wasn’t sanitary for my kids to go in and play in a dirty bounce house, but it was almost impossible to clean, paying an extra 50-80 dollars somewhere else is definitely worth it so you’re not sweating and cleaning on the day of the event. Will never rent a bounce house again. Although we have never had a problem with chair & table rental, they’re always good with. Definitely don’t recommend bounce house rental. Made it seem like they only “clean” with a blower. My husband was told they would call before arrival to pick it up and didn’t. i would have loved to given it one last cleaning from my part before being picked up.

Kenya Jon: Poor customer service. The tables we received was NOT clean, dirty and nasty as well as the chairs. I normally rent from my other guy but called at the last min and they were out of tables so had to go with last results. The tables was not clean, not level. When they’re talking to you over the phone they’re not professional at all. charged my credit card without my knowledge, I put in an order for 22 chairs and gotten 21 chairs. We wouldn’t lie about receiving chairs. When the guy was placing the chairs in the car.. he counted 21 and said when you come back I’ll have you one more chair and the other two tables at the door waiting for you.Imma get my own table and chairs to rent out but again I I usually rent from my other event space off raeford rd and never had any issues with them. But please be cautious and aware when renting from them.Edited :: 03/17/2023You’re right I couldn’t find the chair because there wasn’t an additional chair to find as it was explained the older gentleman only gave 21 chairs. When returning to pick up the other two tables he advise I’ll bring out the other chair, but we forgot as we was rushing to get the equipment into the small suv. It’s funny you say you could’ve charge way more, in which you did.. you charge per day I had your other 2 tables which is understandable and kept the deposit. I’m just speaking upon my experience which the older guy is a little bit rude at times and the smaller girl who answers the phone sometimes. But the equipment was dirty and not stable, however thank you for the last min rental and being there to help my emergency situation.

Nastasia Williams: So this was my first time placing an order with them, and when I walked in their place, the customer service was horrible. Attitudes everywhere. My mom called ahead of time to see how much the order would cost, but when we got there, they didn't have a record of the quote they provided my mom. They acted like we supposed to know their information and people. All the tables I got were extremely dirty and I had to clean them before putting table clothes on them. I would give them 1 star, but because of the employee that helped us get the table and chairs in our vehicle was GREAT, I gave 2 stars.

Marci Dees: Extremely poor customer service. “Owner” wanted to be sarcastic and staff helped others that came in behind me. Left me standing in warehouse for 30 minutes while they went outside. Told one renter he could have put item back “where he got it.” Did not even offer to replace coffee pots for our event. I will NEVER use this company again.

Casey Rohme: We rented 2 cocktail tables, 11 6 ft tables, a tent, and a waterslide.After renting, we were called and informed we could not rent the tent after a couple of days.The cocktail table was not level and the tops wouldn’t secure.The customer service was absolutely horrendous.We asked to receive the items the day before, and of course pay for them the extra day and the owner cut us off, before we even could say we were going to pay for them and said “I’m not taking them earlier because then I lose money. Sorry” and he stormed off.Do not use it if you actually want to be able to use the things you rented and don’t want to feel like you have been ripped off because they 100% will not accommodate or do anything to correct the problem.

Kay Jones: HORRIBLE experience! Rented tables and chairs close to closing time on Saturday and they told me to return by Monday! Returned the equipment close to closing time on Monday and got charged for another day! It also didn’t help that I explained being pregnant and home alone on Monday and could not return prior to that time. I also did not READ the contract and if I wasn’t overwhelmed during the renting process, I would’ve known to return prior to 12pm. The customer representative was very unforgiving!!!They also claimed we bent one of the tables but I have no way of proving that we didn’t because I did not check the equipment before I left their premises.JUST READ YOUR CONTRACT CAREFULLY AND KNOW THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES!!!

The Witherspoons: I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Horrible! Snow cone machine was filthy. And broke! The glass was not secured in the machine. The bounce house DEFLATTED while kids were inside. I called and made a complaint and the manager didn’t apologize instead said it wasn’t his fault. How is it my fault when y’all delivered it and set it up?! I will not be using this company again.

Chanda Sparrow: The lady is a sweetheart, the man however is rude. I rented ground equipment and it didn't work properly due to rust I exchanged it, went back the next day and was told I could no longer rent from him due to damage of equipment. A certified home builder/certified plumber who looked over the equipment and noticed pieces inside that's damaged and should not be rented out due to the amount of rust and damage. So I suggest before renting ground equipment take someone with you and stay away from their rustic equipment. Went as far as saying he should have kept my deposit. God knows I only went back because of the wonderful lady. Back to Lowe's I go.

Kristina Jones-Parker: Not the worst experience but not the best. The tent ( as someone else pointed out) was extremely dirty and worn on the inside. I was actually embarrassed at my event and had I known it would have been in that condition I would have spent more money somewhere else for a clean and suitable tent. If you need a tent just to have and don't care about the appearance then the price is great. Otherwise,, if this is a nice event like a wedding please go somewhere else for a tent. The tables, chairs, linen, and bouncy house was fine so that's why they are getting 3 stars instead of one. Barbara (I think that's her name) is great at assisting you over the phone. I would use company again for anything other than a tent.

John Linde: Always my favorite time of year when Spirits Halloween sets up shop like a spider building a web to attract its prey and consume them. This location on Raeford Rd. seems a little small compared to other places it's inherited, but it's still worthy enough to check out. Always love to come in and browse costumes, decorations and collectible items. Started off picking up a few small items and plan on coming back to add more to our home decor. There seems to be a good selection of new items and I was really impressed that they have adult size retro costumes like the ones we donned on in the 80s and early 90s. Again, it's a little small, so at best, come in midweek because undoubtedly they will get packed closer to the season.

I’ve been here a few times during their business hours and lights will be on, people will be inside but doors are locked. Just wish they would at the very least be open during the business hours they posted.

They raise funds for the purchase of medicine and eyeglasses for mission teams serving in the U.S. and abroad. Where can you go wrong? They have good prices, women's blouses are $2. and $4. I bought some little dipping bowls for 10 cents a piece and earrings for 25 cents on up. I was there one day when they had stampin' up sets they were selling for $1.00 You never know what you will find! No furniture, sorry.
