D Drum: Bought my Flexsteel couch and chair from them some years back. Best furniture buying experience I have ever had. They were helpful without hovering. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. My couch suddenly stopped working and they were so helpful. Even willing to see if they could find a part to replace whatever might not be working. Turns out that one of the plugs had come unplugged, so I was able to fix it myself. I will definitely buy furniture from them in the future.

Faatima Saxton: What started out as a 5 star experience with Mrs. Susie Williams dropped to a 1 star experience with Gaynelle(however her name is spelled) with her horrible attitude. I am a repeat customer who drove all the way from Raleigh to purchase again. I first bought a bedroom set, sofa sleeper, custom ottoman, and custom living room set about 7 years ago. I came to purchase more furniture after a broken toilet seal flooded the entire 1st level. After purchasing a new bedroom set and a living room table, which was delivered with no problems, I began the process to reorder new custom cushions to match the living set originally purchased 7 years ago. From that first purchase I remember Gaynelle's condescending attitude towards me but I let it go. The new cushions were about $500 and I paid in full, upfront, before the order was even placed. After speaking with my claims adjuster I decided to cancel the order for the custom cushions. I called (6/9/22 at 12:29pm and she called back at 12:41pm) and spoke with Gaynelle and this is when everything went downhill fast. The level of attitude and disrespect was as if cancelling the order was afflicting her great distress or that I was taking money from the business. I paid for the cushions upfront in full so I was confused on what she was implying. My issue is not even having to keep the custom cushions. It's the audacity of being talked to with such rudeness. My fiancé and I had referred several people because of the quality of furniture and how lovely Mrs. Susie was. But Gaynelle's ELITE level of unprofessionalism unfortunately ruined the experience. I will go pick up my cushions and will NOT purchase anything else from there again. I will also tell my referrals not to purchase there to avoid any potential contact with Gaynelle's sour and ornery character.
Sam Sam: LC was awesome and totally went above and beyond! He found us the perfect couch set for a great price. After days of shopping at all the big furniture stores locally we were in and out of the store in under an hr and our couches were delivered that afternoon from their warehouse. Same day delivery and it wasn’t a floor model. They have homestretch and flex steel too, two brands that are impossible to find locally. We will be back for our future furniture needs.
christopher bailey: Very poor experience at this location. Salesman spoke In a very condescending tone while explaining their furniture "sets". He seemed very irritated that we did not care for their offerings. We were unable to look around in peace without the badgering salesman spouting irrelevant rhetoric. Will not return.

It's like they threw every piece of furniture they could possibly sell into one room, and you kind of just have to climb your way through it. Everything is so overly crowded it's very difficult to really get a good look or a good feel of any piece in particular.

She listened to me clearly and showed me pieces that were my style...I LOVE THAT! They have furniture with 8-way hand tied coil spring systems and Sinuous Spring Systems and Jute Webbing. Mrs. Susie and I walked the showroom floor for well over two hours and she stayed joyful, upbeat, helpful, professional and caring about my needs. She introduced me to Mrs. Gaynelle and Mr. Larry, both of whom were so friendly...they all felt like I've known them for years! Mrs. Susie even introduced me to the gentlemen who delivers the merchandise and the quality assurance gentlemen who were all so professional, helpful and friendly!TAR HEEL FURNITURE GALLERY has A LOCAL WAREHOUSE and FURNITURE AVAILABLE, so if you are in the market for new furniture, this is the place to go! Joy Douglass Slankard: When I bought my first home my mother suggested I buy furniture from homemakers because of there quality craftsmanship furniture it's beautiful and well made I did, and was not disappointed if you want timeless pieces this is your place it's worth every penny.
I-95 Muscle: This is the only place in Fayetteville that offers true custom furniture. All of the other stores just sell variants of Ashley's furniture, but the actual Ashley's store has some "Ashley's exclusives". If you want nice, high quality, unique furniture... Go to Homemakers
Jim Martin: Nice selections, quality pieces, a little pricey but the price of furniture is out ragious. Overall a quality place.

The style tends to be more traditional with kids furniture best found elsewhere. Variety for the whole home including living room, dining room, office, and outdoors.

They brought it today and one of the nice gentleman noticed something not right w/ my rug (I would have never noticed) but they would not leave it like that and had a new one brought right away within 30 minutes! My husband being gone I was indecisive but not once was I informed of a restock fee Hay delivery guys you only too the rails out and back seriously. I hope no one treats your family like I was treated that day! Long story short I asked to exchange for a Queen with all interest of purchasing more items but the Qwner is a sad man with no heart ❤️ and no businesses skills An exchange and 3000 worth of more items I guess indecision is a disease no one wants to deal with!!!!let me add there is a 25%restock fee I was happy to pay and was not afforded!

I made a cash purchase for a sectional sofa(w/chase and 7 accent pillows), 2 lamps, 2 end tables, a oversized chair,a storage ottoman and a 6 drawer dresser. All for $1,200! That's taxwarranty and delivery fee! Great!! But....delivery was late and I didn't get a call about ETA. It's bad not communicating with a customer when plans change. That attention that is given in the store when making a purchase should not diminish until the delivery slip is signed. Treat every customer like they're your only customer.

Amber Baker: I recently purchased the Cambri 2 - piece sectional as well as the Jerary upholstered bed and a mattress. I was moving from NJ to CLT, NC and was working with Ken. He was great and took care of all of my needs/ concerns. My moving date was up in the air and we had to change the delivery date a couple of times and Ken made sure everything went smoothly. I love the quality of all three purchases. My couch is the perfect size for my apartment and it is extremely comfortable! I would highly recommend heading in and letting Ken take care of you!

We already knew what furniture we were looking for because I researched websites for 2 months before deciding. Ashley won, although their price for the furniture was higher than the competition. The 5 year warranty, in my opinion, makes up for the higher price.
