Fidelity Bank: what do users think?
Ellen Harris: I opened a savings account and a safety deposit box at this bank. I placed money in the savings account in order to pay for the safety deposit box given I was only going to temporarily be in Fayetteville for short time. I kept very valuable items in the safety deposit box and when I moved the next year, I went into the bank and closed my savings account and the safety deposit box and took all of my valuables. I was one key short (gave to my son who had already left) and was told that I had to pay a fee for the key. I paid the teller cash for the fee. I thanked them and literally flew out that day. A few months later I get a call from a representative at the bank stating that I still have the safety deposit box and need to pay the annual fee. I explained the above to the representative. To no avail, the representative literally let me talk and when I was finished went back to saying I had a safety deposit box and the keys. I am so frustrated with this bank and If I could give them zero stars I will. I even recommended that they review camera footage. Still her main object was to make sure I understood that I still had a safety deposit box and needed to pay the measly $55.00 annual fee.
Jessica Leggette: If I could give this place zero stars I would. The staff appears to be that fake nice. There is nothing genuine about the staff except one person. If you are not the right color or have the right amount of income DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS BANK!My fiance warned me after I had already opened the account that he had a racial discrimination suit against Fidelity when the bank was located in Philadelphia years ago. *Lesson Learned. You've been warned.

She went above and beyond to ensure I had all the information required to make the right right decisions in by banking matters. All other agents are very friendly, upbeat and professional as Kim. I would have to give my experience with Kim and associates a five star.

I have done business with many banks in this town over the years but none can measure up to the superb excellence that this bank has demonstrated. From the front to upper management, they all go the extra mile to make the customer feel special. I have 2 businesses in this town and when this pandemic hit and we could apply for the CARES ACT Jim and Kim were quick to expedite my applications and the the funds were deposited into my account within days. alana miller: This bank shows what good customer service is supposed to look like! I was so upset with my bank that I opened a new account with Fidelity. Jim Sebring helped me get a new account set up in the middle of a COVID pandemic. They I needed help applying for the small business load. They looked over my paper work, got it submitted and in less than 24 hours I was approved and the money in my new account. AMAZING!! Super nice people! I highly recommend them!!

Sharon Robinson: I don't I know if it's because this bank doesn't have many clients or what but they are constantly calling, and hounding. I get paid only once a month from disability which isn't much and a lot of times it causes me to have to overdraft funds. The bank knows the money will be back at the first of the month but yet it's always an issue. And there is always an issue with the automated bank number as well. Unless you have a lot of money stay away from this bank.
M L: Please train tellers to effectively communicate what services you do/do not provide to “non-fidelity” customers before telling them to come inside to make their transaction.I was told that they did not issue money orders via the drive thru teller lanes and that I would have to come inside and nothing else.I go inside only to be told that they don’t issue money orders to non fidelity customers. Period. I said, okay that’s fine. However, when any person, fidelity customer or not, makes the recommendation that they should have been told that Fidelity only issues money orders to their customers rather than simply to come inside I believe your management would find it more professional if you replied with something more constructive than, “Well I’m not the one who told you to come inside.” and “You can just go get a money order from Walmart.”I want to clarify that I don’t have a problem with Fidelity’s policies. Great bank, this was simply an instance of a rude teller representing them today. Employees who use their company’s policies as validation to be rude to potential clients is bad business.

Efrain de la Cruz: Absolutely the best bank in Fayetteville. I just retired from Army and had a difficult time closing on my house with other banks, by the grace of God we closed. The following week I went to Fidelity Bank for a SBA 504 loan which got approved with a low interest business loan faster than my home purchase. Jim, Kim and team at the Fayetteville, NC branch are awesome dedicated people. I Strongly recommend you check with Fidelity Bank when comparing bank loans. If they cant do it...it cant be done!

David Harris: If I could give less than one star I would. I went in there today to make a payment and since it is a closed account I needed them to get the account number. While the teller was willing to help me the manager told her no. I wasbasked if I had a phone and if so I needed to call myself. She stated it was because they didn't have people who could help, there were at least 6 people working. This is not my first time paying on this account and needing them to call to find it. She was just very rude with how she handled it. Now I see why people say to stay away from Wells Fargo. To have a manager who isn't willing to help shows they don't care about their customers

Mary Alford: This branch will not give me a withdrawal slip to take with me so I could have my business already filled out. The manger said August 3,2022 they couldn’t because it was a legal document. How is it legal document and there is no information on it until I put my information on it. That’s when it becomes a legal document. The manager said because of scammers. What can a scammer do with a blank paper with nothing on it and you sure can’t put in a teller machine. They have nasty attitudes at this bank.
Harris Baloch: Poor experience.Had to notarize one piece of paper and waited close to half an hour before just walking out. Apparently, entire bank has only one person that can notarize and was having a meeting with his/her “boss.” Well it was a very long meeting.I would imagine a reasonable bank would have more than one person who can do notary work or would at least provide a more accurate timeframe.

ss r: This one of the worst experiences I have with banking. Every visit I have to wait for an hour or more to get hold of a banker to get to my safe deposit box or any other banking needs. They claim to be short staffed for over a year. Bankers can be seen just making small talk with customers instead of attending to the long line of waiting customers. They dont even have a sign in sheet anymore. PNC bank down the street is far more customer friendly. Manager here is not receptive when we approached him with this.

Reymond Sanchez: How on earth this bank can be so slow is a mystery to me, I came in to pull some money out of my account while my replacement card was on the way. After waiting outside the front door for 15 minutes before anyone came out and told me I had to go to the side and drive through with the teller, I then had to wait over an hour to drive the 25 meters from the front door to the teller window. An hour is beyond ridiculous as I write this there is currently a nearly 15 car line waiting for these slow tellers.

Patrick Watts: I showed up to a scheduled appointment and we had to remind the customer service representative as he had forgotten about the appointment. Needless to say he realized he had made an error and told us he could not service us because we were 10min late to an hour long appointment. I called twice and left a message notifying him I was enroute, but apparently he was too busy to answer the phone. Happy to take my business elsewhere.Update: the response from the Wells Fargo HL social worked for me. They answered my complaints and resolved my issues “quickly”. I wish this particular branch had the that same servitude. My advice to anyone experiencing issues with this branch is to follow up with the response from the owner. They came through and I thank them for this.

LeRoy Hodges: I have tolerated their poor customer service over the years because I have been lazy about switching everything since so many things are connected to my account. Yesterday's encounter finally motivated me. The branch manager spent more time trying to find reasons why she couldn't help me despite me pointing out that I had been a customer since 1990 (before Wachovia was bought out by Wells Fargo). I should have changed years ago, but I will be doing it now. I also reminded them that they have been begging for my commercial business for the past 2 years, however, the branch manager told me that it was her decision not to help me. This is what happens when you just accept subpar customer service...they figure since you've taken it the past that you will continue to take it in the future.

L.: After withdrawing money using the drive thue I realized that they gave me a fake 100 bill. Please open the envelope as soon as it is delivered to you. I did notice that the cashier was taking time and was nervous at the time of the transaction.
NazNakira Edwards: This is the worst branch. I made an appointment online and was greeted when I came in for the appointment. I was told that the banker would be right with me. My appointment time came and the banker did not attend to me. 10 minutes into my initial appointment time he came up to me to inform me that his previous appointment ran over, and he would be right with me. I waited 20 more minutes before I got up and left. I was on my lunch break and could not stay. I called the branch back to reschedule for tomorrow. The individual on the phone told me that my appointment was not confirmed. The same representative that greeted me and confirmed that I was there for my 3:30 appointment. I also received a confirmation code for the appointment via email. She refused to make time for me in the banker’s schedule for the next day even though they were the ones that did not honor my appointment time today. I will never go back to this branch. They are unorganized and all over the place. I advise everyone else to not waste their time.

Two tellers open inside the bank on a Friday and one teller is for commercial accounts and the other for personal accounts only. They have more staff seating at a desk then assisting with customers. The line for personal accounts is out the door. This is ridiculous!

And if you have a business transaction, you better be there before 4 because for some odd reason they stop taking business transactions after 4pm. This is the first Wells Fargo I've seen do that. If your doors are open, you need to honor the transactions. Really considering moving my business's to different bank just from the experience I've gotten from this location.

It means something when the manager of a business takes the time to understand and resolve the issue. Though I originally gave the business one star, I am now giving it a 5 for the effort.Concern I had:When I have to physically walk to a bank to show my ID, just to get my full bank account number, which I thought would be on my monthly bank statements, or be able to get by loggin on my computer, or be able to get by an employee asking me personal info to verify my identity--it is time to go. I was trying to support businesses in my local community, but this is ridiculous. It seems I am better off with a national bank. I don't have millions in my account, but I am still taking every penny out of there.

All the employees (those who work the drive=up window as well as those working inside) are nice/knowledgeable back tellers. Ms. Patricia usually works at the drive up window, she is the absolute best! She is so kind, so sweet, all the while taking care of your business transactions. She's the best!

TF “Conscientious Consumer”: This is a miserable financial institution. I echo all the other 1 star reviews posted. Worst service ever! They are extremely slow w/ no coordination amongst staff and seemingly unconcerned about lengthy wait times. Not an isolated incident...this is EVERY SINGLE VISIT TO THIS BRANCH! Absolutely awful! Erin Campbell: Every time I go into Bank of America on Village Dr they don’t have working drive thrus even though online it says they do….today the lady told me the drive thru windows haven’t been open in years!!! The line inside is always out the front door and only 1 teller working at the windows….they always have more available but they’re ALWAYS busy doing something else rather than helping customers at the window! Every time I go thru the atm one of the atms is down…..one actually ate my card and my deposit and it took aver 10 days for a response and for me to get my money back! I am very very disappointed…..still deciding if I want to take all my money out, close my accounts and go somewhere else!! Ridiculous!!!! So frustrating!!

While there was only one teller and a little line, the wait was not bad and every other staff member was helping a customer. I brought him to North Carolina from Florida 4 months ago so they have taken 12.00 every month and he forgot about the account, there know telling how much more money they have taken from him. Is this how Banks make there money now taking a from older people that can’t remember things🤬

Paula Manggau: I visited this branch Village Drive despite all the poor reviews but to my surprise I experienced the opposite, excellent customer service from the time I entered the bank till the process of opening the new account completed. Mr Kim (financial center manager) and Ms Latia Cater (Associate) have done the great job assisting me and answering my endless questions especially as a newbie with foreign passport holder I opened the account and apply for credit card with ease. Ms Carter also returned my call when I needed some clarification. I'm very happy banking with this branch

I understand if they are understaffed, but there were plenty of employees available. I have been waiting in line for 30 minutes already and I’m still only second in line.
Eddie Vinson: I hate this bank and especially this branch. The bank of america on Ramsey Street which is permanently closed still has atm and it ate my card and wouldn't give me any of my money. So I went to this branch about 230pm and employees were inside but said they're closed because of bad weather although roads were clear with no precipitation. So I have no access to my money because i don't have atm card. One day the whole outfit will go out of business and I will laugh because they brought it on themselves with poor customer service and greed.

Clara Abreu: Walked in to this location for notary service. They told me it was a 45 minute wait so I left and decided to make an appointment online. My appointment then was at 12pm the following business day. We arrived at 1210pm because my husband could not come out of work earlier. There was a very nice black American lady that was going to check us in but then this white lady with glasses interrupted her and said if we were 5 minutes late we missed the appointment and had to wait 45 min (same lady who told me to wait 45 min days before). I told her we still had some time before our appointment ended but she was on denial. This lady’s Customer service is horrible I felt discriminated. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION AT ALL.
Kristina Brickey: I will never go to this bank again. The workers take their breaks at the peak times; between 11:30-2. If I don’t get there 2 hours before or after then you won’t get help because you better believe that there is a line AND they barely have workers. They tell me to come back and when I do it is always the same thing.
Shanell Jones: This is the worst Bank of America. Very rude and nasty workers. Undercover boss needs to come and see exactly how this place treats its customers. They also act as if they’re not knowledgeable of their job requirements such as how to deposit money into an account which I thought was very simple. Next time I’m getting the names of every employee that should be fired but hopefully I’ll never go to this location again.

Ezieaha “Sunshine” Gold: On 12/20/2022 I was at this branch at 12pm to do a wire transfer for the closing of my house, walked in with my realtor met a black girl she’s the teller at the counter. I let her know i want to do wire transfer she told me that she needs one more person that will authorize it. She ask one of the teller a white young lady if she can help authorize the transaction she replied to her that she’s going to lunch and can’t do it, the teller told me there’s nothing she can do but that I can logged into my online bank app and do the transfer but she never told me that it will not go thru.I end up doing the wire transfer thru the app at 12:24pm which unfortunately the recipient never received the money, by 4pm my attorney was still letting me know thru my realtor that they’ve not received the closing money for the house, I called the 1800 number on the receipt of the transaction they told me it usually can take up to 3 days to receive the money or the morning of the following day.Came on 12/21/2022 the recipient still have not received the money now is getting to 12 hours that I did wire the money, at 9am the 12/21/2022 I called the 1800 number I was told that I will be transferred to someone who will need to authorize it but after waiting for 3 minutes the male customer service that I was transferred to he came back and told me that it will take couple of days for someone to call me for more verification before the wire transfer will be approved, he never told me to go to the nearest Wells Fargo to show more documents that will help me to be able to wire the money. I was left on trying to figure things out myself, is only when my realtor to me to go to the nearest bank to see if they will cancel the transaction and do it over again.That’s when I decided to drive to Wells Fargo North Ridge location 6002 Falls Of Neuse Rd Raleigh and was attended by Kyle Thuringer which the process took almost an hour to be able to cancel the previous transaction and has to redo the transaction again. I’m very disappointed by the Clark in this Fayetteville branch that refused to take just a minute or two to authorize the transaction before heading to lunch, and also the 1800 customer services personnel’s that I called didn’t even know what they’re doing because if they did they could’ve told me to go to the nearest branch to show more documents so they can authorize the wire transaction. To be honest I have decided that from next year January I will change bank and will not be banking with Wells Fargo again. Kyle at the north Ridge location that helped me did a great job and he also said he will file a report about the incident that happened at the Fayetteville location, which I hope he will do so and send it in. If I can give this review zero I will do so.

Richard Chavis: I was working on a deal to buy a vehicle from out of town sellers (vehicle was jointly owned). Owners arrived a day earlier than scheduled. I was not prepared with funds or notary services. My concern was to properly and legally purchase the vehicle. Notary service and cashier's check which would provide a proper receipt. Walked into the branch on Walter Reed road and explained my situation. Normally this requires an appointment. Even though I did not have an appointment, the bank personnel provided professional and courteous service to myself and the sellers. I would like to thank this branch location, Jacqueline and Christine Blue for their help and superior customer service.
Becky Born: I dread having to use this branch. It is always understaffed with tellers inside who are actually working. Staff is friendly, but efficient service would be better!
Dan DeLeo: This branch is horrific, I am a long time Wells Client and this is the only branch I've had issues with. It appears to always stem back to Kristrina Pacheco who is the branch manager and who lives on a MAJOR power trip. She thinks she is special and is of no help at any time. Wells would be best served to show her the door as she is clearly a burden to clients and employees alike.

Mary Jones: Cashed my check with Shelley that went smooth , then attempted to deposit some of my cash in the drive up atm where the deposit jammed while processing, called inside they told me to call customer service and open a claim did that, now I’m playing the waiting game with them to find out when my money will be released. I also have BANK OF AMERICA and they would refund the money until the claim was over and if they found out everything was accurate then that would be that, and if it wasn’t they would remove the money that was credit back from your account. I don’t understand why it can take 10 business to find out about anything going on. Bills don’t stop because your money is being held. THIS HAS BEEN THE MOST INCONVENIENT ISSUE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH AND WILL BE CLOSING MY ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY AFTER MY MONEY IS RELEASED….#Way to go atm operations team 👎🏽

Jen Fo: I went to this branch today on my lunch break and was greeted with a friendly smile and conversation from the man I don't know his name but who's office on the right. He then told me that the the lady was ready to see me. I don't know her name but her office is the 1st office on the right when you walk in she looks Hispanic. She was not friendly and was actually very rude. She did not smile and she came across like I was a bother to her. She did not even want to pull up my account after asking her questions about my account that she did not have up I told her to pull it up. Rudely she said " let me see your id" something she should have done 1st. I gave her my id and debit card and she acted like she did not know anything about my 2 accounts she did not even know which was checking or savings she did not even take the time to open it up and research it. She then turned her computer around so I could show her myself what I was talking about. I mean the job can't be that hard. That was as far as we got she because she talked to me very snobby after she saw me get uncomfortable she asked me " did I have a problem" I simply told her I didn't like the way she talked to me and that she had an attitude from the time I walked in when I realized she was getting argumentative I walked out of her office and asked to speak to a manager. After I walked away she followed me and still began to run her mouth telling me " I can see another banker" I have NEVER been treated like that especially when your are supposed to be in a professional environment and after I walk away she followed me that is something you just don't do! If you ever need to go to a Wells Fargo in Fayetteville go to the one in front of the mall. They have plenty of bankers ready to help & serve you with a smile on their face. And no one who works in a professional environment she never provoke anyone especially when the person has done nothing to you. Have some class about yourself and always stay classy & professional when you feel like you can't help don't get an attitude just kindly walk away and get someone else to help you!
