Lu: My husband and I are like oil and water, complete opposites when it comes to what we like. We reserved this particular room due to the king size bed and the in room jacuzzi whirlpool tub and it did not disappoint. I am not a big fan of Quality Inn normally but this one was very clean and nice, a pleasant surprise. We will be staying here again when we pass through the area

No closet but room for luggage and hanging bar built in to desk and luggage center with plenty of room in two large cubbies and one drawer. Large vanity with sink to set up bathroom items with shelf underneath. Microwave and fridge are large for a hotel room.Nearby activities: Not a fancy area of town but close to several convenience stores, sams club, gas stations and the second busiest bus route in Raleigh is steps from the door. Downtown is minutes away by car or bus and even a nice walk if you choose.Walkability: You can walk to a few convenience stores and restaurants. The bus stop on one of the most frequent running routes has several stops you can see from the hotel and You can even walk downtown fairly easily on sidewalked streets.

Enrique Padilla: I made a reservation for 2 nights and I stayed only one because the room was dirty and smells really bad, I checked on the next day because I was staying in another hotel. Now when I checked on my card I was charged the 2 nights even though I checked out the very next day. I called the hotel and they are very rude and they are saying stayed 2 days. I was in town for a basketball game and this hotel was close to the convention center. Crack heads running up to your car, the heavily smell if smoke in the room with cigarette holes in the blanket. The room looked disgusting I couldn’t get out there fast enough. The heavy set man at the front desk didn’t even bother to ask me why I was leaving. This happened last night. DO NOT STAY HERE. TC Holt: So I booked a room for my brother. His flight was canceled and we called the hotel immediately. The manager on duty said that we will have to pay for one room but they could give us the other 3 days. When speaking to the head manager after speaking to the on duty manager. The head manager a few days later said that we were not getting a refund. This place is a place with no integrity nor honor . They want to do us fill the rooms and they will not honor their word. After reading the reviews I see why they would not give a refund because they can't fill the rooms based upon the nastiness and lack of professionalism. DO NOT STAY HERE.

B AS: I stayed here several times over six months with my dog while he was in a clinical trial at North Carolina State University. They are dog friendly ($20 charge per dog). I got a really great price on the room booking online in advance. The staff were helpful and honored my request for a downstairs room. The bed is comfortable. The rooms are clean. Each tv gets over 60 channels. They have a pool. The rooms are comfortable and look new. The sheets and pillows are plush and soft. Both me and my dog slept very well. The beds were not much different than the courtyard by Marriott beds, but cheaper. Free internet. Dog approved.

Jesse Forte: The room was unclean and had a faint smell of animal urine. Some detergent or disinfectant used on the bed linens caused my skin to badly break out. The front desk staff was rude and clearly disinterested in their job. The hotel charged me more than the Hotwire rate that I booked, claiming that the extra amount was for incidentals. However despite having no incidentals the hotel overcharged nonetheless.Rooms: Unclean.

Brandon Whitley: Not sure how this hotel has 2 stars, when it barely should have 1. Upon arrival of this hotel, we arrived 20 mins prior to check in time. Front desk staff proceeded to tell us to come back in an hour for a different representative since they did not know how to check people in. When checked in, the room itself smelt moldy and musty. The room given had a hardly cleaned handicapped bathroom, where neither of us guests were handicapped, making it completely unnecessary. When asking a simple question of is there breakfast in the morning we get a response of “we got coffee take it or leave it”. And to top off this horrible experience housekeeping decided to take home a very expensive jacket that was accidentally left on the bed prior to check out. Normally hotels put things in lost in found but apparently this is a five finger discount hotel which could be expected from a 2 star hotel. After calling twice to retrieve jacket and speaking to front desk no refund was offered to make up for the stolen jacket or bad stay only “if we happen to find it you’ll have to mail us a box to send it back in” Don’t recommend anyone staying here.

Russell Jimenez III: Don't book anything at Red Roof Inn. I accidentally booked a room for the wrong weekend. Now the hotel won't refund my money after I paid the night that I actually stayed there. So now they are making pay for both weekends. They are thieves and this should be illegal

The location is right off the 40 and everything we wanted to check out in the Raleigh and Cary areas was 5-15 mins away. The staff was super friendly and professional. I wish I had gotten the name of the gentleman at the front desk that checked us; he was very cheerful, patient, and kind. There's lots of room for parking, the room was clean and smelled great, and the coffee downstairs was pretty good! Thank you to the Red Roof Inn PLUS staff for the great experience.

Carol Williams-Smith: I was skeptical at first when checking in because the traffic outside and the hotel employees. But I was tired. Check in was smooth, room was on 1st Floor as requested. The bed was comfy, the heat was AWESOME. I'm not a big fame of non carpeted floors. But I understand. The door seem to have a gap under and between the lock and wall. But once my head hit the pillow. All the worries went away. I was there for the weekend and was skeptical about leaving the my belongings in the room. But everything was there when I returned. I checked the bed for bedbugs and there was no sign of any. Let just say I was pleased. I am just now righting this post but the stay was 3/11/2022-3/13/22

john mathis: It is with great disappointment that we must share our experience with Mario, an employee at Quality Inn & Suite Raleigh North located at 2617 Appliance Court, Raleigh, NC 27604Unfortunately, Mario’s customer service skills are subpar and caused unnecessary stress during what should have been a joyous occasion. For North Carolina States graduation, my wife reserved 3 rooms. One room for each of our parents and one for ourselves. Our parents arrived at the hotel at 3:00 to check in and Mario refused their entry and said it was their policy to see the person’s credit card that booked the rooms prior to entry.My wife called Mario and he was extremely rude about the situation. Once I heard the story, I thought there had to be a misunderstanding, so I called Mario and he told me the same story in the same manner as he told my wife. I tried to reason with Mario and asked if we could cancel the rooms and let our parents rebook the same rooms with their credit card? He said we had already prepaid for the rooms, so we’ll be purchasing the rooms twice. I asked if a manager was available, and he said the hotel was privately owned and the owner can only be reached Monday through Friday from 8 til 5.I continued to explain we would not be there until 9:00 that evening and it’s currently only a little after 3:00. I mentioned our parents are elderly, and they had traveled far to get there so was there any other option to allow our parents to gain entry to their rooms prior to our arrival and to show our credit card? Mario flat out said no.I told Mario it would be only fitting that I made sure to give him a 5-star review for his superb customer service. His response was, are you threatening me? I said a review is anyone’s right, not a threat and then I laughed about his insinuation of a threat. After all, considering the situation, Mario and his business practices are comical.So, our parents’ only option was to find ways to pass time until we could get there with our credit card in hand. Then, we all will be able to continue our NC State celebration graduation weekend.This gets even better. Our parents find ways to pass time over the next 4 hours. Our parents decided to go back to the hotel to see if someone more competent was working at the front desk and see if they could get checked-in, but Mario was still there. It was at this point Mario informs our parents which all are in their mid to late 70s, 2 being Vietnam Veterans and one handicapped. That he decided to cancel all 3 room reservations due to him feeling the duress receiving a negative review.We received this news through our parents around 7:00 that evening so my wife and I are still approximately 2-hours away. Mario didn’t bother to notify us directly; he decided it would be easier for him to get word to us that he canceled our rooms, through our parents.This was NC States graduation weekend so we knew this might be a tough situation to find new lodgings at the last minute, but we were able to secure 3 rooms at a better suited hotel right away. The new hotel was only a few minutes away, so our parents didn’t have to travel far to get to the new hotel location.Even better, the new hotel allowed our parents to gain entry to their rooms prior to our arrival and without having to physically show our credit card.Mario showed no compassion and caused a simple solution situation to be as problematic as possible. Mario would rather see 4-senior citizens wait in the lobby for several hours than offer help. Mario must like having the authority to conduct a hostage situation for the elderly, but this isn’t normal behavior. We sincerely hope that Mario takes this experience to reflect on his customer service skills and seek help needed to improve his job performance.If this isn’t possible for Mario, we encourage him to consider a new profession that does not require social interaction. It is our sincere hope that future guests do not have to endure the same unpleasant experience as we did.

I only stayed here because i had a family emergency in Raleigh, and I could not drive in the dark. I do not expect perfection from a Days Inn, BUT I do expect a clean and proper room. I woke up to two roaches crawling on my face. I got up, went to the bathroom, and watched another roach run all over the sink. Another came out from the corner of the bathtub. Ib walked out of the bathroom, went to grab my shirt..... and there's another one! With the amount of roaches I have seen within a 20-minute period tells me that you do not treat these rooms properly to kill all pests. Picture attached. The "baseboard" is falling off, no lamp shades, no way to charge my logins. I had to plug my phone into the TV just to get a charge. I did not enjoy being told I couldn't have a refund due to the fact that I occupied the room, regardless of how many roaches I saw in my room. To make matters worse, when I walked out of my room, I was asked for money, cigarettes, and someone had the audacity to ask my husband if he could give a ride so the person could obtain drugs. An appalling sight was a man laying naked in his bed with the window curtains wide open. My vehicle was parked right in front of his room! I should've kept driving home.

There were so many roaches in the tub and toilet that it was frightening. They were crawling everywhere. Because we arrived very late and were very tired, we sucked it up and stayed. I mentioned to the desk clerk upon checkout about the roaches and he told me they clean the rooms the best they can. Cleaning won't help, pesticide will. Also the wall outlets did not work and we had to sleep on opposite sides of the bed than what we are accustomed and got a horrible night's sleep.
