Terri Parker: This place was overpriced with no real prom dresses. Then, in the clearance section, dresses were ripped but still got a price for $100. I was like what!! So I went over to Macy's and got a dress for $80 brand new and was made to move without ripping.

Kristin Nagy: Savvi Prom was honestly one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had. The staff is INCREDIBLY kind, friendly, and warm - always willing to go the extra mile and made me feel so validated. I was nervous to see if I could get a plus size prom dress for under $100 just a few days before my prom, and the staff helped me pick out multiple dresses that I loved and perfectly fit my needs, and I went home with not one, but TWO dresses that make me feel amazing, because of their amazing buy one get one free program! Special thanks go to Tori and Sydney for giving me the most amazing red carpet treatment during my prom dress buying experience. I would recommend this shop to ANYONE looking for a prom or other formal dress!

Laura Mata: We had a terrible experience here. Two of the sales ladies hit on us by calling us love and we are not gay in any way and did not want to be hit on. The other sales lady was very classy, but she could not speak English and we had questions. We had a thin girl as the client who really needed 000 dresses, but they had NONE. We had to try on 00 dresses and they had few of them, so if you are very thin, go elsewhere. All of those would have required alterations and we were hoping to find one that did not as they do not alter the dress for you. One of the sales ladies told us that, "all dresses need to be altered anyway." They send you elsewhere to have alterations and you cannot get a refund. Another thing that struck me was that they were not sure what the dress fabric was exactly. There were two different answers from two different clerks. I also did not like the music and would have expected classical music or calming music at a place with eight hundred dollar dresses. In general, I cannot recommend this store in the least, especially if you are not gay or do not want to get hit on by the sales staff. Their approach of calling women, "love" is something that would drive away the straight clients as straight people have no problem being served by gay people, but most definitely do not want to be hit on by a sales clerk. I would give this place no stars, but it does look like in order to post, you have to click on one.
Michele Pruett: We had an amazing experience. I called earlier in the week to find if appointments were necessary and Denise assured me they were not. She let me know their hours and busy hours. Customer service was wonderful. AJ took care of us, was helpful, and ready to answer any questions and make suggestions. Everyone else there was also delightful and helpful. The selection of gowns was extraordinary many colors, styles and sizes in stock and ready to purchase. They shared that the the women who worked there picked out all the dresses themselves. Not only did they do a phenomenal job but they were also very knowledgeable about the dresses and what would look good on.My daughter found many dresses she liked but settled on a stunner that looked perfect on her.The dressing room was open and large with good lighting, places to sit and plenty of mirrors.Checking out was also smooth and easy. There was never any up selling pressure or pushiness whatsoever. In fact there were signs in the dressing room that indicated that if you liked something that was not in your budget let them know and they would help you find something that was in your budget.I am so glad that was our first choice/stop as we needed no others and we were in and out in an hour! Great job all around. Thank you!
Ivy Pesa: Thank you to the whole staff at Savvi Prom. My daughter and I went to several places, department stores, David’s Bridal and Chique Prom today. The customer service was hands down the best at Savvi. The staff was wonderful making my daughter feel like she was the most important customer. They listened to me when I told them what our budget was and did not show her dresses that were above the price. My daughter found her perfect dress at Savvi. Next year the only change I will make it to start earlier. So many of the staff helped us but Kayla was super at the final sale. Thank you!

Mattie Given: LGBTQ FRIENDLY!!! I am a trans girl who went in to buy a dress and was scared I was going to be looked at in disgust and treated poorly, but this is not what happened at all! I was cheered on and felt so loved and supported by all staff members and customers. 10/10 Also the dress I wore was very beautiful and fit me perfectly even without top surgery! The ladies at savvy prom are lovely and deserve the world!

Juan Ramos: Small store with limited selection and fitting rooms. I entered the store and left after 30 seconds. Prom season has hundreds of teens heading to shop for dresses and thus store was small compared to the number of customers in the store. Also, there was very little selection and just a few fitting rooms which would have us waiting at least 30 minutes in line.
Cheyenne Locklear: This is the first prom dress store I had came to for my senior prom and I walked in and immediately found a dress that I fell in love with. I went to multiple stores after that and still all I could think about was this store. So I drove 2 hours from my house back to this store and got the dress that I had fell in love with. They have the best service and and I would 10/10 recommend.

Emma Giulietti: 100/10 - This shop is a lifesaver. I am a plus size girl and I find it very hard to find nice formal dresses in my size that I like on my body. This store has a wide range of sizes for every body from size 0 to size 30. This store has gone above and beyond for me and my friend and fit us with dresses that we instantly fell in love with and were comfortable in. The staff came and helped us if we needed it as well as helping the dress fit us the way its supposed to. The staff was wonderful and helpful in every way. They also included places to help with alterations.WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK IN THE FUTURE!!

Amber R: This was my very first appointment to try on wedding dresses. I was contacted days ahead of my appointment to get an idea of what I may be looking for. On the day of, walking in, we were greeted immediately and my consultant, Ajia showed us to a couch. She took down some notes on what I was looking for (I didn’t have a lot of ideas ), let us browse for a few minutes and make some possible picks and she found some options based on my thoughts. She was very professional and continued to pull dresses as we started to hone in on what looked good on me. After 6 or 7 dresses, we found the perfect dress! I had happy tears as soon as she added the veil. Did not think that would happen! After another appointment later in the afternoon that was not as pleasant, we came back to Savvi. The manager immediately recognized me when we came in and Ajia as well as other consultants celebrated with me saying yes to the dress! I felt so special and well taken care of. I would recommend Savvi to any bride because they answer your questions and give you the best experience possible!Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Jordan Light: I had been waiting for a dress to go in stock for months and I was lucky enough to find the exact dress under google images related images and it brought me to Savi bridal. However, I live 4 hours away from this store. I messaged them and they contacted the designer and were able to ship me the dress of my dreams to Tennessee for my elopement. Shipping was incredibly fast, maybe 2-3 days? A girl named Callie helped me and got everything worked out for me and she was wonderful! So so sweet and customer service was a 10/10.

Got the sales tux that they had at men’s warehouse for about $80 cheaper so Glad the other places recommended this place. they worked with my every need the only issue is my pants length was a lil off by like a half of a inch but the Store Manager Terrell drove all the way to the warehouse and got me a freshly altered replacement pant with proper length with in about a hour in half. Although he wasn’t the person who originally measured me. So thank you I know no rental is going to be perfect but thank you Vip for making sure mine was. Absolutely loved the service. I will be back for sure and and I recommend to anybody of any size needing formalwear for your formal event

When I picked up my tux at Crabtree location the shoes were never even cleaned.They looked like the Person before walked through mud and once again the bowtie was for a child (really small).Since this was for an event today I had to go all the way to the Wilmington st location the opposite way from my home to exchange the shoes.Once I got there and exchanged shoes I mentioned the bowtie and asked if I could get another one (this is the warehouse location)Simone told me that she was on lunch and to come back in 15-20 minutes.This tux rental was $275

I ordered a pair of pants back in April, for a wedding in November. As a few months passed I had to reach out to find the status of my pants, which had somehow fallen through the cracks, but Denise went the extra mile to find me in the system and get my order through ASAP! Although the location’s out of the way, this’ll be my go-to whenever I need a new suit. Thanks Denise!

Jennifer Grant: The suits were stunning but unfortunately the customer service received was absolutely horrendous. When my husband and son went to pick up the suits on the Thursday before the wedding a consultant by the name of Simone was rude making passive aggressive comments. The comments were to the point where my 6 year old felt that he had done something wrong and was horribly upset.Unfortunately this was not an isolated issue as when I spoke to the remainder of the wedding party, they all received poor customer service from this store.

The employee barley stopped her show on the computer for us to ask if they had what I was looking for. When I asked for a specific jacket, she just pointed and said “that’s all we have.” She was very rude and I felt like a completely bother to her. I am very disappointed in the customer service. I was planning to rent 15 tuxedos from this company and they will not be receiving my business.

Dylan Barlow: Shoes were 4 sizes too small and everything was delivered 7:30pm the night before so there was no time to fix it.
Meghan Scott: When I did fittings for my wedding dress, she told me she would show me how to bustle it when I picked it up. When I came to pick it up, she wasn't there and none of her assistants knew how to bustle it. So on my wedding day, we did what we could but it looked terrible. When I brought her a bridesmaid dress with a halter neckline, she tailored the halter neckline so tightly that it was honestly difficult to breathe when I wore it. Ended up having my fellow bridesmaids use a safety pin to connect the neckline and give me just a tiny bit more breathing space. It turned my neck red and raw from being so tight.

April A: Unique Tailor saved the day!! I pulled my husbands suit out of storage for a big interview he has on Thursday and found that it had a rip in the pants. The ladies at unique tailor were able to fix the rip, get out a stain, and steam the suit all in a day! I am so appreciative of the work and care they put into this suit and I am hoping it gets him the job! :)

I’ve taken several alterations here (hems for silk pants, altering the princess seams on the busts of dresses, shortening straps on a dress) and they’ve all been handled perfectly. Sharon is a true expert and I never worry about how the finished product will turn out. Everyone is friendly and courteous, prices are fair, and turnaround is quick. It’s reassuring to have a reliable tailor I can trust in the neighborhood.
William Moore: I had not used unique tailor before today. I had procrastinated getting a suit taken in for a work trip coming up and Sharon was able to get it done the day before. She is amazing and I will continue to use unique tailor for anything else I need altered in the future.

Sharon has 2 locations which also makes booking more flexible depending on where you are located. Sharon pointed out things that I wouldn’t have noticed and asked questions about our venue and if we were getting married inside or outside and the type of flooring. I would have never thought about little details like that, but this is to make sure your dress is altered properly. My dress was altered in a timely fashion and she was even willing to make me a video to show my maid of honor how to bustle my dress! Don’t look anywhere else for alteration needs- Sharon is your one stop shop!
