The garden is a serene and picturesque oasis, with a stunning array of vibrant colors provided by these magnificent trees. Walking among the Japanese maples is a feast for the eyes and a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A must-visit for nature lovers and anyone seeking a moment of serenity in the heart of nature.
Eric Green: Gorgeous!
Dawn B: Restrooms: Very clean
Kathy Jones: One of my favorite spots to visit around Raleigh for the beautiful flora and fauna, and the variety of birds always present in the gardens!
Melissa Enoch: On a visit to Raleigh with a suggestion by Heather Leah, Hidden History, I trekked to find WRAL garden and the “century” plant. I had no idea that the station was that close to NC State campus(right in the middle) and that there was a garden that could be used as a nature walk, plant observation even as a wedding venue. As an officiant of wedding, I didn’t know that for the mere cost of $250, the garden could be used along with chairs and electrical hook up as a quaint space for weddings. No receptions, but this would be useful for renewing of vows, intimate yet inexpensive place to say I do. I am glad that I was able to stop by and plan to visit more
Victoria Kazmier-Mahalik: We got to see chipmunks. My daughter came to visit from Florida and never seen them before and loved it.Picnic area: We enjoyed our snacks by the waterfall and got to meet Elizabeth Gardner. She was nice enough to pose for a pic with my grandson.
Brian Franklin Elliott: Excellent revisitPlayground: In natureDog-friendliness: People can walk dogs herePicnic area: By stage area

Matthew Novak: Beautiful garden, obviously the azalea bloom is the draw but don't skip this stop even if they are not in bloom. The hydrangeas hostas give a nice pop of color in the early summer. Personally I can for the agave bloom, a rare sight only. Looking to visit again soon!
Breanna: Beautiful, peaceful place to visit year round! There are always photographers. Favorite time to visit is in the spring and early summer when azaleas and hydrangeas are in bloom!

Rose Garden: what do users think?
Christina Emrich: Beautiful park that’s easily accessible year round. Great place for a picnic, photos, or some time to yourself to center your thoughts.
Dawn B: Beautiful, must see.
Elaine Hammond: So cute and peaceful.
James Suits: Lovely garden
Farzad Ehtemam: So beautiful! You will find many different kinds of flowers not just roses. It's dog-friendly. Parking is limited. Not sure if you can picnic here but there are benches to sit and enjoy the garden. There is also a pond with fish in it.
Villia Cruentia: This garden is great year around. Yes, the best is seeing all the various colors of tulips and roses in bloom during spring, but there’s almost always some flowers even in late fall, and still color in the winter. I feel at peace whenever I go here- and it’s within a few blocks of Hillsborough Street on NCSU main campus- perfect spot for a stressed college student like me to decompress. Been going here since I was a child and went to Raleigh Little Theater- my first memory of this place was my dad taking me to the garden that I saw in the window and I felt just like Mary in the Secret Garden. To this day I still see Dads taking their daughters here and it’s the most wholesome thing to witness. It’s also got a ton of places to sit with someone- you can end up talking for hours on end with the right person while enjoying the scenery
Drew Dutton: Pretty, many different types of roses, not busy, very tranquil place
Nicole Hancock: An absolutely beautiful garden. It’s a little smaller than I expected, but still a nice spot to hang around and see some pretty roses. There’s plenty of shade and some seating. Prefect for having a picnic, taking some pictures, or just sitting out and enjoying the weather. The amphitheater next door is interesting too.
B Cash: Peaceful, clean, quiet. A truly wonderful place to enjoy some beautiful roses.Dog-friendliness: Great space for your dogs, I enjoyed watching a smart chocolate lab do some tricks beside the stage.Picnic area: Clean picnic tables and benches, even had a snack to kill time while a photographer snapped some graduation photos, easy to stay out of frame, plenty of room.
Wen Li: Small but very nice place. The rose collections are good here.
Rob Baker: An awesome place, lovely flowers. Peacful and tranquil.
Don Dude: A great spot to pass an hour or two. Very well maintained, apparently mostly by volunteers, and quite peaceful in general. Plenty of spots to set up a picnic and some benches to just hang out on and relax.A tonne of rose varieties. Great spot for a picture backdrop. Tuck back away in a neighborhood. Street parking only. The pictures speak for themselvesPlayground: No playground in that sense.Restrooms: There is a restroom houseDog-friendliness: Did not see any prohibitionsPicnic area: People were picnic-ing there
Cecelia Helm: So beautiful and serene. The roses were in full bloom and so fragrant.
Juan Rojas: Nice little gem.
Regina Popelaski: Beautiful
Barry Johnson: The Rose Garden is expertly maintained. It has an "old world" feel with beautiful roses.
Giley Mcconnell: A lovely oasis of peace and beauty in a busy city. The amphitheater made us think of the Souns Of Music.
Kinsley Tate: Beautiful place to visit near NCSU's campus! The roses are beautiful and usually blooming in May. There are many different types of roses on the grounds and also an amphitheater 🌹
George Amato: Great spot to go when the roses are in bloom. Best to go in the morning before it gets hot.
David Embry: Great place to hang out.
Vianey Mares: Wow...this place is so beautiful. It's the perfect place for a relaxing stroll, photo shoot even picnic. Plus The Realigh Little Theater is right next to it so check to see what great shows they're playing.

Lynn Canada: Fun to shop, lots of nice surprises.Staff friendly, helpful.Sales all thru growing season, owner occasionally on Sat.wptf radio weekend gardener live broadcasts.Watch their Facebook page for best access to great sales, when new plants, product in stock, open houses.Learned the hard way...take too long, plants sold out.Wonderful independent nursery, has wholesale, retail portions at 2804 with separate entrances; tree lot at Christmas time🌸🌱Primary retail parking lot has one way traffic flow. Several close calls when people exit the entrance so be mindful.During busy times additional parking across from wholesale entrance which is needed at times. One or two open house events during year.🎃🌲⛄❄️🍁🍂🌾🎆Closes mid Dec to abt mid Jan every year. Posts done on Facebook.Plants grown by nursery available when roots strong. Retail waits for frost threat to pass.Tree, shrubs grown by wholesale nurseries so always dependent on what they choose to grow, when ready.Delay on selecting and plants may go out of stock for growing season. They have alot of foot traffic so fastest answers come from a visit.Leave a detailed message and they will answer as soon as possible but can take awhile.Always happy to shop.

Andrew Roman: Landscaper in the triangle area. I came to Campbell Road Nursery with a heavy lift. Over 21 properties in need of flowers and accents. They have performed better than I could ever imagine! The owner and staff of Campbell Road have been nothing short of spectacular. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating! They do not miss a beat! They are truly a one stop nursery! Looking forward to many seasonal changes and the potential to build a great partnership! Robert Nichols: I've been coming here for years. Its a great place full of great plants selected and grown by some of the best folks in horticulture in the region.
Patrice Mckay: Just called for price for a shrub and with each question i asked, i got a chuckle before an answer. Not good customer service over the phone. I will pay higher for the plant somewhere else. I asked for their location in relation to other businesses, and i got another chuckle. I wanted to give them my business, but it looks like I will not be visiting this nursery.
Nina Nimmer: First time here today… so happy to have found them! Great selection, great prices and knowledgeable staff that are friendly. Thanks!
Angela Oliveros: My regular nursery was out of Papyrus plants so I have called Campbell previous to my visit looking for a Papyrus plant. The person on the phone was warm and ready to provide information and inventory about the 3 varieties they carried. The following day I went over to get them. The person I asked although prompt to help me, fizzled. She could find but one variety-King Tut and was clueless about the other two mentioned over the phone to me. While getting information about my inquiry of the other two varieties mentioned the day before she busied herself at the cash register while I was waiting for information about the other papyrus plants. I still decided to get the plant and I asked to put it aside next to her while i took a quick look around. She said " no problem". While I was looking for plants to go along with the papyrus King Tut, I found the staff were quick and didnt care to know more about what I needed. They were not ample about the informatiom or given options. They brushed me off. Although foot traffick was light and still plenty of time before closing time-5PM. One suggestion was proposed and directed me to the table with the suggested plant. Even though I stayed there for a while trying to fingure out the plants at the table, they kept passing me by and ignoring to further assist me along. When I went back to the cash register, to pay for my choiced plants, the papyrus plant was not there!!. The same person still at the register was clueless initially as to why the plant was not there and she said that ...it tipped over because of the wind, and the plant was put back. She also said that she thought I left. :-[ So, in conclusion I had much better experiences at other nurseries during the peak of the busy season and including weekend. Campbell nursery looked nice and the plants looked healthy. Still I will give this one a pass.
Elizabeth Gillespie: I loved visiting here! Such a unique selection! Eye candy for the plant lover! Will definitely come back!
Tammy Boldon: They are always so helpful & friendly. Eager to help you find what you're looking for or some new suggestions
