Mary Lamm: I shopped at Chico’s today and Erica was so helpful with much good advice and endless trips with more choices and sizes for me. That personal service is so wonderful as you have to walk half the store at Belk to even find someone to check you out. There is no customer service there. I have been a Chico’s customer for over 15 years and value their product and their service associates. Thank you, Erica!
Ellen McClay: Asst. Store Manager Erica provided truly exceptional customer service this evening with multiple phone calls to help me track down a few items. She was a delight and persevered in finding all 3 items.
Yvette Thompson: Linda and Carolyn was absolutely wonderful associates. I was in the store returning an online item for my sister because she couldn't find the same item in the size she needed online. While in the store, Linda, a sales associate, said that she would go search other stores to see if she could find the item for my sister. At first she wasn't successful and then she told me she was going to keep trying. Well she was able to find the item in a Texas store and worked with the associate there to have it shipped to my sister. That's what I call excellent customer service. She and colleague were so friendly and while Linda was helping someone else she asked Carolyn to help me while I was trying on some items. They both were so pleasant, warm, and friendly. They just weren't trying to sell you stuff as some associates do. But they we're genuinely concerned about items fitting well and whether or not it was something that you liked vs just saying that it looked good on you to get a sale. They made my shopping experience very nice and very customer service oriented. I will definitely go back. Thanks to you both.

Whit H: I made an appointment with a stylist to gather clothes for my wedding weekend. I had never had a personal stylist select clothes for me and I was skeptical to say the least. However, it ended up being a wonderful experience! I was set up with Pat and she was extremely helpful without being pushy or hovering. I guess the point of a stylist is they may select things you would never select for yourself because we all become "set in our ways" and tend to gravitate towards the same styles. However, this is not always a good thing and, in my case, Pat brought me items I would never have been drawn to but when I put them on I loved them! My selections there are now some of my favorite outfits! I never felt pushed into anything or like I was getting the "hard sell."And I am not over 50. In fact, I am in my early 30's so do not feel like you have to be in a certain age set to find good clothes here. While clothes here are fairly expensive, they have good sales and the quality is excellent and will therefore last you a long time.
Jason Brooks: Poor nonexistent customer service. If you are not over 50 years old they will not even look at you until you are at the register. Then tell you your coupon is not usable. I made a purchase and was so mad at the way they treated my wife and made her cry I marched back in an demanded a refund. She asked why and I told her. They did not even muster an apology. I am so angry. I guess that is why their store is void of customers.

tammy reinert: I have experience serve foot pain recently and went shopping for new tennis shoes. Desiree in the ladies footwear was excellent. I explained my situation and she went to work finding me shoes to try. Once I knew what shoe brand worked well, she went above and beyond to help me get a tennis shoe and Sandal. CC: TLDR: Kannon's has an amazing selection of clothing from a number of different lines and Francesca is the best! She was honest about what looked good and what I should pass on - and even though she had never met me, was great about finding dresses that would work well with my body type.I am 50s+ female from CA and was traveling through the Carolinas. I was prepared for the heat, but not the humidity. I needed a new wardrobe stat!I researched online and discovered a number of boutique shops in Raleigh. Apparently, I started at the wrong end of the village, as I spent 1+ hours searching through racks at other boutiques before finally making my way to Kannon's. Note: some of the other boutiques had good selections, but all seemed to be geared toward a much younger crowd.I was lucky to be approached by Francesca (might also go by Francine as I think that's what her card said). She asked what type of occasions I would need outfits for and immediately came up with selections that fit my body type and my sense of style. There were a few that made it to the reject pile - either because they didn't fit exactly right or were unflattering. In either case, it was Francesca who gave them the thumbs down, which I definitely appreciate.I have never found a boutique with so many different styles and with such a helpful staff.I am tempted to fly back solely for the purpose of being able to shop with Francesca!

I walked in, told the staff I was a professional school student looking for a good interview suit, and within 15 minutes, I had been fitted for a well-fitting and reasonably-priced suit. They turned around the tailoring (which was high-quality and included in the price of the suit) in a couple of days. I can't recommend this store and its staff highly enough!

Ashley Miller: Just came in today on a time crunch before work to grab some foundation and powder from the MAC counter, and there was only one associate working there. She was an older blonde lady wearing black Prada glasses with humongous eyelashes with a foreign accent. She was placing eyelashes on another customer so my daughter and I figured it shouldn’t take too long, we matched our colors and couldn’t find anyone other than her working so I approached her and asked where tog ran the product, as I was on this time crunch before work. She told me she was only placing lashes and it would be five minutes. She had taken a break from the previous clients lash strips to come ask what we needed, I had told her two of the shades of things we needed (I didn’t have the third matched yet), so she grabbed them and placed them by her with her client and went back to the lash client. I matched the third product and waited patiently while my daughter was picking out a lip color. Another associate showed up to clock in (long dark hair and bold cute makeup, black shirt and a double nose hoop ring in and light grey acid washed looking jeans) and she helped get my daughters two products and started ringing up the sales (they were separate orders). The the first blonde associate came up to her at the register and made her let her ring in one of the orders so she could get credit for the sale. The girl with the dark hair let her and bowed out with Grace, however, if I were her, I would have not let the blonde because she was too busy taking 15 minutes to put lashes on the other client to finish helping us and cash us out. I’d really like to leave this review in hope the blonde doesn’t keep doing this to other associates and the dark haired girl gets more credit. I work in the service industry and I know how annoyed I get when I just get to work and someone immediately asks me for something and I haven’t even fully gotten ready for my job, but she was so sweet and nice and gladly helped us immediately with no attitude or annoyed demeanor. Kudos to the dark haired girl, and shame on the blonde.
Queen D: Very chill vibes at the bottom where the perfume section was. The lady who helped me pick out a perfume was so sweet that she even gave me free samples and put my things in a cute display box. Will recommend going and dealing with her and her only wish I got her name. I would've included it here. She was amazing and made my experience so much better.

Lena Bjorner-Janes: My one star review is from my experience today May 28, 2023. I have never been treated as rudely and demeaning as today while shopping in activewear. The lady was at the register talking to 2 other associates and apparently I interrupted the personal conversation because I wanted to pay for my item. I then had the nerve to bring her an item without the proper tag on it and said to me “how am I supposed to ring this up?” I really don’t think that’s the customers problem and i would think between the 3 of them, they could figure out what to do. She told me I need to go back and find one with a tag and then come back. Her tone and the manners in which she spoke to me was very unnecessary. Needless to say, I walked out of the store and I will not go back. And you wonder why department stores are failing?
CM WH: No ventilation in the bathroom so it’s got a lot of biological fragrances going on in there with no chance of escape. Also, why is there only ONE working sink???

Back to online shopping I go.

Kristen Sampson: I like Vestique clothing, but I usually only shop on their website due to being racially profiled on multiple occasions at the Crabtree location. I went to Crabtree yesterday, and my shopping experience was very pleasant because of Vestique’s employee, Spencer. She politely greeted me and was attentive without being intrusive. She had great control of the entire store on a busy Saturday, and her customer service was exceptional. I don’t write reviews, but I wanted to share because I hope this shift in a positive direction continues.

I was ignored the whole time. Don’t bother going inside if you are a person of a different color. Never going back again.

Samirah Barrow: I was in there yesterday and felt like I was completely ignored. The workers were greeting everyone that came through the door but didn’t say anything to me. I heard them checking up on customers and talking to them about the promotions but not once did anyone approach me. It’s crazy because I really love the clothes that they sell.
T: Recently bought a new silicon bra and I was told at checkout that returns had to be completed within 15 days. Well my new bra would not stick at all and when I brought it back I was told they would not accept this item as a return.UPDATE: The manager of the store responded to my review and explained that the situation was a misunderstanding and that while they do not accept returns of stick on bras they would exchange it for a new one since it was a defective product. Thank you Vestique for fixing this for me and responding to my review!!
Jennifer Hoehle: I have been a loyal customer at vestique for 7+ years. They have cute clothes at fairly reasonable prices. In the past, if I needed to return or exchange for any reason I’ve had no issues. Recently I bought a dress for a vacation. The weather ended up being super cold and I didn’t wear it. I finally had a chance to wear it but when I put it on, I realized it was WAY too short for me. The item is still being sold at the store and online, however, it had been a couple months since the original purchase date. I figured I would at least get store credit and get something I can actually wear. However, the store said they had recently changed the policy and could not take it at all. Even tho, they are still selling it! And the tags are still on the dress! I never would have purchased a $54 dress if I knew I wouldn’t be able to return for at least a store credit. Disappointed in the customer service and unclear return policy. I will not be returning.
