Jerry Lopez: Great customer service.. no waiting
Jeremy Hunt: "You get what you pay for". The cheaper rental places always have drama. "We see that you have a reservation but we don't have any vehicles of that type"...or worse, they don't have cars at all because they over-sold. Nope, never had a problem with Enterprise. They aren't the cheapest, but when I am on the road I prioritize Zero Drama/Hassle over saving a few bucks.

Thomas Lynn: We rented a Honda CR-V. The car was clean upon pickup and got good gas mileage, but I would not recommend it to use driving in a hilly area like the North Carolina Appalachians. Going up a hill at the posted limit would result in the car continually hunting for a gear, unable to maintain speed at a higher gear but shifting up a gear one the car made it to the posted limit. The car struggled a bit on the steeper hills. As to Enterprise, during the rental, they did not verbally advise that I needed to either opt for a damage waiver damage or opt out of the waiver of coverage. As a result I chose neither option, which likely means that I did not choose the waiver of damage which will most probably make me responsible for the minor damage done by a deer when it ran into the right front fender pushing the rear of the fender in about 3/4's of a inch at the back edge of the fender. I did take photos so I can prove there was no damage to the paint. I even have a photo of a deer hair caught in a trim strip.
C&M Spencer: It was easy, quick and was nice to have a choice of vehicles.

John Swartz: I rented twice from Charlotte airport, 2 weeks apart. The first time the Sirius radio was activated when I left, it NEVER activated. I called FIVE times to activate it, but NOTHING! The second time, I rented, I had them activate the radio as I left, then WAITED 20 minutes outside the garage along the side of the road. It NEVER activated. I went BACK and turned the car in for another. The radio was activated again, again, NOTHING!!! Three cars and this incompetent company can't activate a lousy radio??? I wonder if Sixth or Hertz has the same problem. I guess I should find out.

Matthew Steward: My overall experience was excellent. From the representative at the airport in Charlotte, to the parking lot attendant. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. A huge bonus was the F150 King Ranch that I got to drive. I give the interior detail a 4 out of 5 stars, as I found some small trash in the door storage and center console. However, the truck was amazing! Thank you Enterprise, for investing in premium models with all the options, as it significantly improves the experience. I look forward to using Enterprise at the Charlotte airport again.

They gave me the third degree, insisted I somehow prove (on Sunday night) I work for the firm and refused to bill the corporate account, wanted me to fork over my personal card. Unless you want to give your travel department fits -- not to mention your road warriors -- I'd avoid this joint like the plague.

katie mo: I used the Hertz app to make a reservation on 7/15 and it was confirmed via the app and a text. I arrived to pick up the vehicle at the South Blvd location to be informed by Avery that although my reservation was received they did not have any cars to rent. A phone call or a text message indicating this would have been professional and courteous and saved my time. I do not recommend this location especially considering the staff (Avery) who had no resolution, although I had a confirmation #.

Why is it that they would just be finding out this morning!? I was supposed to be in Richmond Va to meet my sons for his birthday. I planned on leaving by 9am and get there for lunch and now 3+ hours later of trying to re-book caused me to miss lunch with him!?The guy working simply stated “ we don’t have your car and we don’t have another one to put you in… you will need to check with another Hertz.”What a complete abuse of your customers. I see a review from 4 months ago about this very thing!!I cannot get this moment back, I am so disappointed and angry!!!I just joined your Gold Status and was treated like dirt…What will you do about this!? Let me guess you will “let the manager or supervisor know”That will do nothing as this facility is run down and filthy which is exactly how it’s being operated.I will wait for your response!

I have never had such a bad one until this location after a car accident, I went through multiple cars because every car they issued me was broken in many ways. It's the last thing you need after a car accident to continue replacing your rental because it doesn't work for one reason or the other.
DANIELLE TALFORD: I always use Enterprise and I regret trying Hertz. The worst experience EVER. They are absolute liars. They overbook vehicles so that they can make money and don't tell you that you do have a car until you go to pick it up. Then they are absolutely rude about it and will not help you try to find another location with available cars. I will NEVER trust a Hertz reservation again. Enterprise is a much better company.

Stephanie Inch: They were understaffed, the phone was ringing no -stop, the one employee was visibly frustrated (which I don’t blame her), and the SUV I was given as a rental (my car was getting work done that was under warranty) was not comparable to my SUV. It also had no type of manual so we could figure out necessary functions. I would hate to see this place when it’s busy. Hopefully then they will have more employees available.
Jeff Holcomb: I helped my son get a rental car due to the problems with Kia motors and his car was going to be in the shop for awhile. Unfortunately I had to wait several days to get a vehicle due to high demand. Brittney and the other gentleman (whose name I forgot to get) at Hertz were fantastic. The rental process was great except for me deciding to switch cards in mid transaction. Which through the system off, but other than that we were in and out quickly.

Luckily..Hertz took car of us and rented us a beautiful, clean vehicle at a very affordable rate. I think the young lady (Brittany) did a great job in completing the paperwork and just taking car of us. From now on...Hertz will have our business and thanks again Brittany...you did a great job.

Steven Benson: Had a rental car over the weekend. After dropping it off on 07/03/2023, I realized that I left approximately $90 worth of groceries from target behind in the back seat. I immediately filled out a lost and found claim. After 5 hours of attempting to call the location today (07/05/2023), I decided I would go in person since no one would answer my phone call. Upon arrival, I was given one of my 2 Target bags. The bag I was given was ripped open and ransacked leaving me with 3 of the 8 items that I purchased. The most expensive items that I purchased were stolen totaling approximately $80 worth of goods. I will never rent from this location or enterprise again. They mention that customer service is their top priority but employ people that steal from paying customers. If you are renting from this location, make sure you don’t leave anything of value behind on accident as it will be stolen!

Edward Munk: I just wanted to let management know that Drew went above and beyond helping us today. Our car was involved in a hit and run and we needed a car last minute. Drew went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed - and made a bad day a great one. Further, I forgot my home key and Drew called me after hours to inform me, and waited well beyond closing time at the location so that I could retrieve it. I wish there were more Drews in the world - and hope to work with Drew again in the future.
kendyl harvey: I tried to use this place multiple times as it is close to my home. Every time it has been such an unpleasant experience. It was such a production each time and then the last time they honestly tried to say I damaged one of the cars that clearly had the damage before when we did the walkthrough at pickup. Like an absolute joke. Not to mention the guy could not have been more annoying and condescending. I’m happily driving 10 minutes out of the way to avoid this place lol.
Patrick Brunette: Staff was prompt but they misinformed me around insurance coverage options, locked me into a $20 per day policy (that wasn't needed) and then told me I had to come back to the location to get the car inspected before I cancelled that coverage due to having my own policy that covered the vehicle. Total waste of time and unhelpful employees. Do not rent from this location or, even better, go to Hertz.

Adrienne van Dalen: I have always rented with them, and I probably always will rent with them. I happened to get a car that didn't have AC or heat. Not the end of the world as the weather wasn't too crazy. I mentioned it upon drop off just in case the next customer wouldn't be happy about something like that. I was offered a day taken off my reservation (I had a weekly rate so I'm not sure this even really mattered) but the insincerity that came with the offer was what dropped this to a four star review. He gentleman checking the car back in didn't even think about it before offering. Which makes me think he didn't really care or listen to the feedback. The group that was working when I was picking up the car were great though!

My insurance company is doing everything they can to upgrade the car to make something work. Enterprise just acts like they do not care. The managers at this location just do not care! If you can avoid using Enterprise altogether I would defiantly recommend that to you.
