Nikolaus Jones: Called 3-4 times early on in the day (October 26th I believe), first time I was redirected to the service desk. The line was picked up and then they hung up on me after a couple seconds after not saying anything. Second time, it was left to ring with no answer. Third time, it asked me to leave a voicemail and so I did. Waited a few hours after that, called back again and was told that the service desk is now closed.All I wanted, was an oil change lmfao. Couldn’t even get/do that, and it’s really basic. Gonna go ahead and do it myself at this point to save myself the time, money, and hassle.

Maureen Cleveland: During my recent service visit, my experience was amazing. We had a tire blow out on I95 while we were driving from South Carolina home to Pennsylvania. It was really Important to us to get our car fixed right away. The staff was very busy with a very full schedule. But, they could see our distress and stepped up to help when they could have just told us that it would have to wait. Instead, everyone was so kind while making sure that they did just what we needed done.I would particularly like to call out Allison, who managed our service both professionally and with compassion. She stayed late to make certain that everything was done correctly. She would not leave until we did. I was so impressed by her.I would also like to call out Jason. We had a minor hiccup after we left the shop and came back this morning. Jason quickly and very kindly took care of the issue right away and answered all of my many questions so that we could get back on the road confidently. He even refused a tip I offered, saying “it was MY pleasure to take care of your vehicle and you”.I am extremely fortunate that Volvo Cars of Fayetteville has such a fantastic service team. I thank them from the bottom of my heart and want them to know that we made it home safely because of their amazing service.

J D: Exceptionally great customer service. I have 2 occasions that left me highly impressed with the service at Volvo. The first time, I had run over something that was sticking up out of a parking lot, which I did not see. It made a loud noise, so I looked underneath my car and saw a leak. It was an emergency to get my car checked out, so I drove directly to Volvo. They immediately put my car up on the lifters and reassured me that there was no real damage to the undercarriage and the leak was no issue. This was great news, because I would not drive my car for a few weeks and did not want to have a deadlined vehicle the next time I drove it. They did not charge me any fee for this service.The second instance happened recently, where I suddenly got an indicator saying that my coolant was low and to turn off the engine. I checked the manual and it said to only use Volvo-brand coolant. Again, considering this an emergency, I drove directly to Volvo. I really only went to ask if it was actually true that I could only use Volvo-brand coolant, and if that were the case, I was going to see if they had any Volvo coolant that I could purchase. What they did was top off my coolant, free of charge.In both cases I did not make an appt, since these happened at the spur of the moment, and in both cases, they were extremely polite and helped me out immediately, and even when I asked (both times) how much I owed them, they never charged me anything. Thank you very much for your service and you really eased the stress I had when these things happened to my car.

Dropped my car off over a month ago to have some collision repairs and was told it would be a few weeks before they could get it looked at due to them being down to 1 Volvo technician. That’s fine, I’m easygoing. Three weeks later I called the service center to get an update, as they hadn’t called yet. No answer. So I go in person, and speak with Justin. He tells me they tried calling but my voicemail box was full. A lie, my husband had just left me a voicemail the day prior and that was the only one in my VM box. Then he proceeds to tell me it will be another week before the parts are ordered and put on. I said that’s fine, agreed to the price and gave them the go-ahead. 3 more weeks go by and I haven’t received a call. I try calling 2 more times, no one at the service department ever picks up. I go in person 2 more times, they tell me it’s going to be another 3 weeks before they can even get the parts on. My husband and I are down to 1 car and struggling to get by, as I told them the first time I came in. All I expected was a courtesy call or something to give me an update. Nothing. It’s been 1 month and 2 weeks, and the car has still not been looked at. So like I said at the beginning, if you’re smart, you won’t take your car here. Very unprofessional and sarcastic staff. 0 stars if I could.

Ro Bin: I loved our seller, June, when she sold us the car. Unfortunately, the service after the sale was horrible. I literally had to beg to get an answer to my question, and Jonathan Gibson, their sales manager, went to great lengths to intimidate me. It was an extremely distressing experience.The situation eventually reached the regional manager of Volkswagen, and with their intervention, I finally managed to secure everything that had been negotiated in the contract. It was a lengthy process, lasting approximately two months, and it took a toll on my nerves.However, I must commend the outstanding service provided by Volkswagen once I contacted them. Their assistance was truly awesome, and they went above and beyond to address my concerns and ensure my satisfaction.Despite my love for my VW, I have no intention of ever setting foot in any Valley Auto World location again.

The top was not twisted, therefore did not need a new top. My convertible top was repaired. Saved thousands of dollars. I'm thankful for the honesty by the second opinion rather than the dishonesty by Valley Auto World Volkswagen in Fayetteville, N.C.

Sean Osborne: I went to the VW dealership in Fayetteville to get the brakes checked out on my 5 month old VW Jetta, that has 4,900 miles on the car. The brakes are making noise and are not releasing correctly. I also received a letter from VW stating that there was a possibility of issues with the brakes. So I scheduled a appointment and had the brakes looked at. I had to get a rental car as the dealership would not provide a car during this time. The dealership did not change any thing on the car and I was told it was fine. 2 days later the brakes stated making noise again. I will drive to the VW Dealership in Greenville NC, where I bought the car new. So that I can get the car fixed like I asked yhe VW dealership in Fayetteville. Don't take your car to this dealership. The don't care

I went from seeing the car online Monday afternoon to showing up with my own financing Wednesday AM, but Sales Manager Dave and Sales Rep Lawrence Brown handled everything with aplomb and got me into my car. Mr. Brown was great to deal with, very professional and personable, and he also handled a small hiccup with a missing accessory with lightning speed.Thanks for a great experience!
Natalie C: We had a great experience purchasing our vehicle back in 2022 and love our Tiguan. The issue I have currently is with the service dept. I took my car in because the Travel Assist alert kept going off at random times. When I took it in I was told that it needed a new sensor and they had ordered it and it should take a week or so to come in and I would be called when it was there. A few weeks went by and I still had not heard so I called the Service Dept and was told it’s still on order but they will keep me updated. I totally understood because I know parts are sometimes hard to get. A couple of months passed and I still had not heard anything so I called again and was told by a young lady that she did not know when the part was coming in and they would call me. Fast forward to the beginning of 2023 (this has been going on since the August/Sept of 2022) I called again to be told oh yeah your part came in and someone notified you and said that you didn’t respond to which I responded no one notified me of anything! I was then told yeah so since we didn’t know who the part belonged to we sent it back! How this is even possible is beyond me because first you said oh we tried to contact you to now we didn’t know who the part belonged to! The part apparently has to be ordered again and no one has any godly idea when it will be here. My last call to the service and parts dept was well I think a dealership in Cary has one so you can try and call and see if they will sell it to you. Why I have to call another dealership to have them sell me the part is beyond me. All I want is my car fixed! It’s a warranty part and this has been going on for way too long.

No haggling, nobody was to pushy, I got what I wanted, they got what they wanted, everyone wins. I would have to say that this is probably the best place in town to car shop.

Devyn McIntosh: This company sent prize letters in the mail with "NO games, NO gimmicks" in bold print on them. The letter made it look like I won the $1000 cash prize. All I received was a $1 scratch-ticket. The whole thing was a gimmick. No way i would trust a dealership that deceives potential customers like they did.

Octavia Taylor: My daughter purchased a car from them and in a week the car broke down. She had to pay and get it towed to the shop. The shop explained that it was the transmission and that they told the dealer ship that it needed a new one before they sold it. My daughter has been without a car for over a month. They said that they would let her pick another vehicle but when it came down to she only had a choice of what they offered. This is a horrible first car experience for my daughter. They will not even give her a refund. Even though she only physically drove the car for a week. I will be reporting this to the BBC.
Dominque Drayton: Marcel was friendly every question I had he answered it with no problem on my first test drive the air conditioner wouldn’t work I was told they would fix it next day they said they replaced the ac compressor and the ac switch on my second test drive the air conditioner worked good so I decided to get the car I signed my paperwork and before I left the lot I noticed the air conditioner was blowing hot air again I made marcel aware of the issue he said he would get me and appointment with “his” service dept I said ok left then received a call back they would be out and he would have make me and appointment at the Nissan place but basically once I signed the paperwork to my car it’s out of there hands but had I known the air conditioner wasn’t completely fixed I would of never signed any paperwork so yeah i never received a call back now I have a car with no ac and have to wait days before I can get in with the Nissan place I’m definitely disappointed
