Al McNeill: Currently, I have three Ubox units at the Fayetteville, NC Coliseum location that begin with Unit #AA9736U. A voice message was left today with a blocked number from an individual named Kimberly at the location.She stated "I left some items out of the unit and they needed to be put back in for security reasons." Since the boxes have been shipped from Colorado I have not been onsite to the location. The business was notified I would not be arriving in North Carolina until July 2023 since the items were shipped in May 2023.As with any business of this nature cameras and locks are for the sole purpose of keeping values secured. However, this location is NOT.I advise you not to rent from UHAUL, POD containers are more secure. As a ABA Certified you can bet legal action will be forthcoming if ANY item has been removed accordingly.

Crystal Anakwe: Cadillac converter was stolen from my class C RV that was being stored here in their gated area. Management stated that they will get with their security crew to get the film but never did even after asking a couple of times. I don’t understand how this happens in a gated area. This seems to happen often as I called a shop down the street to get a quote and they told me that’s not the first call from someone storing their RV at this facility. I canceled and moved my RV out of there. The RV next to me was tampered with as I noticed their engine hood up the day I started my engine to run it and found that my converter was gone. Not a good area for motorhomes.

Micah Pounders: I do my best to give people the benefit of the doubt but this place is absolutely terrible. DO NOT under any circumstances do anything more than Uhaul rentals at this location. I tried having a hitch installed here, had my appointment set up, and it wasn’t busy. The gentleman who was working on my truck moved around like He was shooting for overtime. An hour and half in I was informed they didn’t have the proper wiring harness so he would run to another location in town and grab the right one. Another hour and half goes by and he comes back and tells me the wiring harness he went and picked up was also wrong and they should have the correct one shipped in a week or so…..excuse me? Moral of the story is pay a little more to get stuff like this done by people who specialize in hitch installs and not Uhaul employees who mainly rent trucks and trailers out. It takes a lot for me to give out bad reviews but this one takes the cake for me.

Shantay Mckoy: So far 3 of the staff workers including Managers have been rude and not well trained in customer service. I was given wrong information upon signing my contract not told I had limited access to my storage unit. When I tried to explain I was told 3 different stories by Manager and Assistant manager. They are too pricey to be rude and unprofessional. I will take my business back to legion road self storage where 24hr access and friendly staff come with the service free!!!!
Jas Everette: This is my experience & dissatisfaction. Not that it goes toward the U-haul near the Crown Coliseum on Hwy 301, Gillespie st.. The staff was helpful to a point; nonetheless the customer service experience was very poor. I done a reservation one way with a 20 truck & auto transport for my vehicle. The initial staff member when approached was on their personal phone then his phone was placed underneath the counter multitasking listening to me and doing whatever was on their phone at the same moment in which provided an incorrect pickup date after receipt was printed. Another print was produced with the correct date but staff (he) did not announce a script or go over reservation to assure confirmation nor a contact is to be cell phone so a text to confirm anything or problems may arise. This reservation was placed 2 1/2 weeks in advanced. It was also mentioned a 10 X10 unit ( 1 month free 1 way) would be provided but now it is not the case, only when I get to my destination at the end would have to be discussed on the unit not as stated & may have to pay additional charges. I again had to showed up to get more packing materials and not one staffing member went out of their way to check on my reservation to assure their inventory trucks & transports were available a day before to give a great customer service & experience. Now it's the end of day on Sunday, June 27, 2021, just 1 day before pickup at my preferred pickup at the U-haul Hwy 301, Gillespie st. for truck & trailer; I get a call on the landline (at home) from a different U-haul facility that I must pickup at 2 different locations: the truck on Bragg Blvd. in Fayetteville, NC, then the trailer an hour away of my time & troubles in Aberdeen North Carolina to pickup & drive back to Fayetteville to finish loading before leaving to my final destination. However, this other staff from another neighborhood location of U-haul was apologetic of the issue & no correction could be made to the fact it was the end of day hours nor was it mentioned at beginning of day so I could make preparations due to this horrific disaster mishap, yet female staff member said "It is the closest that there is or are. There's nothing I can do & it is what it is, transactions will continue as is. You will be charged extra on mileage & there will no discount toward your reservation or given any free mileage for 2 separate locations pickups. I'm sorry." And the phone hangs up on the other end (her end), this leaves me upset, very angry, & speechless towards this dissatisfaction & dismay of customer service & experience. I even went to the preferred U-haul location where I reserved them & to my surprise there is a 20 truck plus a car transport trailer available sitting on property. There were other trucks and trailers too with proof of photos to prove availability. This is not a rant nor hate. This is my true truth & experience.

Leisa Fisher: We decided to stop by this U-Haul location for propane because the other location we usually go to had some issues going on. If it were not so late in the evening we would have went to a different company all together. Ths customer service at this location is terrible and that'san understatement. Sonya and Erica has to be the worse this company had hired. Their attitude towards paying customers should never be a part of this business model. While Sonya was trying her best to instigate a confrontation is rather unprofessional. Erica's concern was picking up her child which seems to take precedence over her responsibility as a worker. They should both be retrained on customer service etiquette or terminated. Recommend the staff receives training because there is a serious issue with customer service that must be addressed ASA!!
Joseph Robinson: JUST PLAIN RUDE....THE WORST EXPERIENCE. I reserved a 26 foot truck the day before rental. I went to the location and showed two photo forms of ID and had a valid drivers license and visa card. They still would not rent to me and the white customer service rep was very rude!!! They said I had up upload a photo of my drivers license to my phone but my phone could not accept an upload so they would not allow me to rent a truck. Even though I had recently rented from this location many times in the past. I will never use this company again!!!! Wish I could rate 0 star!!!

cameron wheeler: Worst U-Haul location ever been to. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Had a reservation and they couldn’t honor it. The same situation with a gentleman in front of me happened. Strongly suggest going to another location or different rental company. Wish I could give it 0 stars.
Rolanda Mulume: The process was very smooth and the staff was helpful. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is they didn't have any more appliance dolleys and I had to purchase some moving straps. They did give a discount on the straps though, so that was very nice.
Carrie Smith: Management is rude, unprofessional and incompetent! Employees are nice but untrained and are trying to read steps off of sheets to help you completely lost! TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES TO DO THEIR JOBS!!! Also get management who's IQ is higher than their last grade level completed!
Whitney Rehkop: Over the course of 2 weeks I've had several reservations and spent over $1000 at uhaul. I didn't have an issue until this last reservation.Made a reservation online on Thursday to pick up on Saturday. When I made my reservation I was quoted $0.69 per mile. When I showed up on Saturday to pick up my reservation I was charged $0.99 per mile.Additionally during this reservation I paid for movers to help for 2 hours. I was charged $140 upfront with $50 due at time of pick up. No one from the moving company reached out to me to schedule a time nor did they answer my multiple phone calls. Then when I picked up my reservation on Saturday I was charged $150 and not the $50 i was told was due at pick up. Despite having an email saying $50 was for. Uhaul customer service nor the actual location have been helpful in getting reimbursed for the money I laid for the help I never got.
Eddie: Had to spend $95 on a dolly needed at the VERY last minute because they didn’t have one available although I booked for it. which meant I spent more money on mileage driving to Lowe’s. Man was very curt about not having one and didn’t attempt anyway to rectify it other than cancel that part of the booking. A uhaul place with NO DOLLYS at all? Trucks are outdated.

justin verlinger: This U-haul center has everything you need to move. But pack a lunch, your gonna be here for a while. If these people move any slower, they'd be going backwards.There is also many, many issues with equipment control, organization, maintenance, and accountability. Keep copies of all your records, contracts, and receipts, it's also a good idea to jot down who you speak with. The employees are friendly, some seem lifeless, but not rude.It would have gotten more stars if we didn't have to go back in person to track down a trailer we returned early, they lost it. No one answers the phone, so you have to go out of your way with proof of a rental return cause they're unable to account for there own equipment. The manager doesn't even have the courtesy to come out of her office and offer an apology for there mistake.This store is in desperate need of new management...Lastly, I've been waiting for a call back from the U-haul customer service for hours... I don't think it's coming.Other than that... it's fine.

Scout Gillick: Set an appointment for 2PM. I dropped my car off about 1:50 and was told that they are running behind because they had an unscheduled install they had to do. Was quoted 2.5 hours- been here over 4 hours and they’re still not done. Not a big deal but if you came in from out of town to have it done, there are no places to wait at within walking distance. The male staff in the evening were more friendly and helpful than the ones during the day.

Logan Russ: Took my 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan to get an receiver and hitch installed, it’s probably been about 4 months. It’s been occasionally rattling after it was installed. Decided to look underneath it and after a 3 hour install that should of taken an hour, it wasn’t even done correctly. It’s missing a bolt and they didn’t put the hanger for my exhaust back on(who knows where the hardware is). If you aren’t going to do the job right dont do it at all.
Boz Profit: I have used this Uhaul location several times. Each time has been a good experience, except for one... but the general manager made it right and that is what counts. I had reserved a truck for 12 hours, but before leaving with it I asked to extend to 24 hours. Apparently the system did not update and I was charged for the extra time. A manager in training was only willing to do a partial refund. But upon escalating to the GM, she reviewed everything and saw I should be refunded the full overcharge. It was a learning lesson for the manager on training. The staff is friendly and are helpful, especially when connecting a trailer. I have found they do take pride in serving customers and do what they can to go the extra mile.

Rory Sweeney: Friendly staff that tries to steal from you at ever turn... Rented a truck from them and verified fuel and milage before leaving the lot. Upon trying to return somebody had gone in and changed the required full to a full tank and we're going to charge me over $90 for that. Offered to get my contract to disprove them and also stated I posted an image of the mileage and fuel level then they finally relized they weren't getting away with it, with me. Everyone makes mistakes and that's what I chalked it up to. But a few days later I needed a trailer for an our two women picked one up from the same location took it back by 4:00 and was told by the employees that they would check it in. They failed to ever check it in that day I was charged a $20 after-hour service fee and when I called to confront the business they tried to say that I was lying but I provided specific detail of what happened the previous day and had to contact corporate to receive a refund. Watch what they are doing and always have proof for everything.
Miss Amie: Reserved a 10” truck a day before I needed it and it was clean and ready when I arrived. I rented thru their 24/7 share which was all conducted through my iPhone. The process of picking it up and returning it was super fast and easy. The guy who did the walkthrough upon returning was very nice and we were out of there with an emailed receipt in no time!!
Elizabeth Andersen: If I could give 0 stars, I would. My active duty husband and I arrived at this facility at 6:30 pm, 30 minutes before closing. We had been told to ensure we returned the truck during business hours so we could fill out the paperwork to receive the military discount. We waited in the truck for 15 minutes and despite multiple employees walking in and out of the building, no one came to assist us. We went inside to explain the situation and they told us to return to the truck and they would be with us shortly. Twenty minutes later, now after closing, no one had come out to help us so we went inside again. The employees rudely informed us that they were now closed, they would not help us, and they would not offer us the military discount. Of course, at this point, my phone was dead and we could not even check the truck in online. We were incredibly disappointed with this company’s service and will not be using U-Haul in the future. Please stay away from this very poor establishment if you expect to be treated with common courtesy. Oh, and the cherry on top? It’s the Fourth of July weekend—reneging on a promised military discount is substandard business management.

tai.: this place is horrible honestly and their system is bad as well. they will let you reserve and pay for boxes that they don’t even have, then the DAY OF they will tell you they don’t have the boxes. what is the point of having an online reservation system if it doesn’t update to tell you nothing is in stock? dont waste your time or money. you will be stuck without options because you could reserve moving boxes weeks before but they won’t call or update you that they don’t actually have any till the day of.

George Freeman: Took me 10 hours to unload there
Jordan Hutchison: Our move was contracted out by the military to PAWC. We incurred tens of thousands of dollars of damage and missing possibly stolen items. The loading crew specifically (Jose) was very unprofessional and on his phone (Bluetooth headset) the entire time. He lied regarding conditions of our goods, had my spouse sign on his tablet, which showed no preexisting damage to our items. But, once paperwork was emailed they changed the damage to nearly each item to show every code imaginable, burned, water damage, worn, etc;. I do not recommend this corporation. I would stay far away from any company associated with Mayflower. It’s a shame the amount of money the government pays shady corporations to move their employees, just for there to be such disregard for their items.

Then packers just left after a two hours and only 2 returned the next day. Overheard movers threaten supervisor to go to the “owner” because they had to work that day. There was paint all over my items and items were unwrapped and unpacked after they left our house. After 7 moves, I have sustained MORE damage in this 1 move than all 6 previous. When I called and asked about the claim process, individual treated me as an inconvenience. Angry beyond measure, they deserve to go out of business.
Ron Cherry: My son & Law and Daughter just had a washer-dryer and refrigerator moved 02/26'2013. The driver of the truck (David), was very helpful and professional. However his helper Rodney was on his cell phone continuously the whole time. He was of limited help. He made some questionable comments to whom ever he was talking to. He said something like "who are you trying to get sexy with"? There were children in the area and heard those comments. Unbelievable. I asked him if he was here to help us or on the phone? He said "both". They even dropped the refrigerator on the ground while loading it.

Rachel Gosney: First and foremost, I want to start this review by saying this was one of the smoothest moves we have had during my husbands 20 years in the military. The packers were pleasant, as were the loaders. The driver was courteous, and even provided us with an update on when he arrived to our destination.The reason for the 2 stars:When we arrived at our destination and unpacked 2 pieces of my valuable/sentimental jewelry were missing from the boxes I stored them in. Now, I know ultimately I shouldn’t have allowed these items to be packed. With every move, I have always set aside my valuables and sentimental items. This move was different. I worked up until the very day the packers came, my little guy was sick, my husband had doctor appointments….things were just thrown off. My routine was off, and I didn’t set them aside.The master bedroom, where my jewelry was also kept, was packed on day 2. I know the name of the lady that packed my room. She was the ONLY person in our room other than my husband and myself. She was kind, she was thorough….but ultimately she is the one I believe stole my items: a very sentimental pandora bracelet that I have had for years and a diamond pendant necklace my husband bought me for our 14th wedding anniversary. I had no idea these items were taken until weeks later when we arrived at our destination and unpacked.Imagine my disappointment at opening my jewelry box and necklace box to find that pieces were missing.So, what did we do? My husband called Nilson and was told to contact Amy who would assist us. Amy’s response to my husband’s inquiry was quite frankly rude, as the way she worded her response made it sound as if we were not being truthful. She advised us to call the cops since it was and I quote a “theft”. This didn’t sound right to us, so my husband decided to elevate the issue further and contacted a customer service representative through Suddath. We have honestly gotten no where with this situation. I just want my jewelry back. It’s not about the money. I just want my bracelet and necklace.
Susan Fisher: My husband and I hired Mayflower (through this agent) when we lived in North Myrtle Beach. This was in October of 2021. Out things were to be stored for 6 months. Then moved into our home in Elizabethton Tennessee .We purchased the highest level of insurance that Mayflower offered through Unigroup one of their companies. It was for damages as well as replacement .After 6 months of storage in April of 2022 a three-person team picked up our items and used an 18-wheeler truck despite the fact that they knew it would not be able to get into our driveway .What they did do is they coordinated a U-Haul. Parked their truck at the bottom of our road and then shuttled our 18-wheeler full of things up to our house.This G-Maps website seems to disallow a detailed review... I think it was too long. Suffice to say since July 2022 we are still waiting (It is now December 2022) for an appropriate settlement that is at the level of coverage we purchase from UniGroup.They have delayed responses,  They have been unaware that one agent was actually working on the case... And they have asked us to accept settlements like replacing a grill at 50% of its features size and burners.Mayflower has written to uni group once or twice on our behalf but other than that they have absolutely new authority....But the bottom line is I held them responsible for making choices that destroyed our furniture and property and is putting us through the unpleasant and continuous efforts we must do to get our property replaced and repaired.Feel free to get in touch with me if you want the details.

Jason James: As soon as they attempted to pull into the driveway, they ran over a post with the house number on it and missed the driveway entirely. Once parked, we found they were not prepared at all, like i was told they would be. They didn't have bubble wrap to cover my bedframe and other stuff and had a thin piece of plastic that barely covered my mattress but no tape to even hold it over. They only brought a small van that barely fit what I needed shipped, had I needed a lot more shipped, it wouldn't have fit. Definitely would not recommend. Only reason for 2 stars is because they finally reimburse us for the post they ran over.
kyle dunwiddie: Was assigned this terrible company as my delivery for my NTS release after a long tour overseas. On the day of delivery they never showed up and never called. And their phone number listed with the transportation office and their Google page just sends you around in circles without anyone ever answering the phone. If this company is assigned to you I would highly recommend requesting a different provider.

Our PCS was overseas and they tried every possible option to get out of following the military contract and crating our goods in our presence. They were completely unprepared and the employees ended up in a heated confrontation in my front yard....at 10PM. Now that we have received our goods on the other end the damage and loss is excessive. We have moved a lot over the years and this is the absolute worst company, of this is your PCS move company ask for a reassignment. Also, we had to call the military liaison multiple times during pack and ship due to them not honoring the contract.Services:Interstate moving,Moving-related packing

Andrea S: Avoid At All Costs!! I gave 1 star only because I couldn't write a review without a rating.We have been in the military for many, many years and this is by far the WORST moving experience. Nilson/Mayflower was contracted for our OCONUS UAG and HHGs move. Our UAG sat in their warehouse for 10 days after it was picked up and was only, supposedly, sent after we contacted our TSP to see if our items had left the states. Our TSP didn't even know our UAGs had been picked up. Our UAGs should have arrived a week ago. At this point, nobody knows where our belongings are located.In the past, we have required no more than 3 days to pack and load our HHGs. This move took 5 days. Mind you, all previous moves were weighed at around 16,000#. We left a master bedroom set, chest freezer, refrigerator and w/d behind. And, we added an 800# HD that we had always transported ourselves.These could not have possible weighed 7,000#. But, Nilson/Mayflower General Manager, Steve,estimated 9,000#.Nilson/Mayflower ended up sending 2 packers to pack our HHGs. One of which, it was her 1st day and 1st time ever packing boxes. We found multiple half empty boxes, boxes that needed to be repacked, but when we inquired about having boxes repacked, we were refused. It took 3 days.We even asked the Nilson/Mayflower site manager, Sherry, if boxes could be opened and filled with paper and repacked, she called Nilson/Mayflower supervisor, John Adams, he refused, saying, 'do not open ANY boxes'. Incidently, Sherry is John's sister.Day of loading, Nilson/Mayflower movers and truck did not arrive until 1130a.m. bringing only 9 crates for an estimated 9,000# packout. This was their eatimation. Sherry went through our inventory writing damaged on everything from a new table to recently refinished furniture. Never once interacting with myself or husband to show or inquire about any true or fabricated damage. Once there was realization they did not have enough crates to complete the job, Sherry, the Nilson/Mayflower site manager and driver of the truck, said she would "go get more crates". Instead, she went home and never returned. At 730 p.m. everyone realized, Sherry, wasn't returning. At this point one of the loaders called Nilson/Mayflower company supervisor, John Adams, who promised they would be back at 7 a.m. the next morning to finish the move as we had hired our own contractor who was arriving at 9 a.m to place other furniture in storage. Nilson/Mayflower arrived at 930 a.m. It cost us an extra approximately $250 because our HHGs that should have been gone were stacked in the way from the previous night.Finally, and this is just the highlights of our nightmare, we told Every One at Nilson/Mayflower as well as the TSP/GridIron Forwarding agency, we would be sending a HD motorcycle as part of our HHGs weeks before the packout. We were told multiple times by multiple people, including the Nilson/Mayflower GM, Steve, a crate would be and was partially constructed at time of loading so the bike would just need to be driven in and enclosed. It is now 21 days later, we are now in Germany. Nobody, not the TSP, or us knows where any of our personal belonging are located. We are being told the hold up is they are working on the crate for the motorcycle.We were, are, and will continue to be in contact with the FT Bragg QC. I am also construcring a letter for our congressional representatives.This company should be and needs to be blacklisted from ALL governmental contract moves, as well as, avoided by any local Fayetteville families in the area. It is unconscionable to knowingly place any family in this situation.I will update this review once we (hopefully) receive all of our UAGs and HHGs.

Victoria Lollis: The team in Hope Mills, NC is excellent. They were very polite and able to transport my father's personal hospital /mechanical bed from Fayetteville to Greensboro. It's wasn't an easy job as the bed is large and extremely heavy. The opening out of my father's sun porch was also difficult to navigate a large bed through. The bed made it safely to an assisted living facility in Greensboro and nothing was damaged.I am grateful that they could schedule the move so quickly, the communication was excellent, the movers were determined to get the job done and that the team cared enough to give me a follow up call. Madeline Stigall: Wonderful! I was hesitant to get a moving company after the last two moving experiences I had, but decided to take a chance and try out Two Men and a Truck. Every phone interaction was blissful, straightforward, informative, kind, and did not waste my time. I ended up receiving three men and a truck for my actual move. As soon as they showed up they got straight to business, paperwork only took a couple minutes because they were so well organized. (Other companies I've used made it difficult to understand what you were actually paying for, this was not the case at all.) All of the workers were very professional and I felt very comfortable having them in my space. I lived in a third floor apartment and expected it to take them awhile to move me. It took them about half the time they told me it would, and with twice the amount of care of any other company I've used. They seemed to actually care about my possessions.Couldn't be happier, most stress free move I have ever had.
