Diamond C: Wasn't greeted nor did I expect to be. Two tellers were up 1 helping someone & one looking down so I waited until somebody told me to come up then I explained & she told me to just wait over there and I didn't need a number or anything. Waited for 30min because they only had 1 customer service banker working on a Wed at 3pm. I waited for 30 min & still had 4 people in front of me... while 2 or 3 ppl worked the line & drive through.I hate calling because you get the run around sometimes but I called while waiting there and got the business done in 18 min over the phone. So 48 min in all... to do something I should've been able to do anyway. I hate I have to deal with this bank because they make things difficult for new customers.They need better systems in place.Nevertheless, I would advise you take a chance calling and go in only if 100% necessary because you'll be waiting a while.

Pavel Tsiukhtsiayeu: They could not initiate the wire transfer on time. I went to an office at 3:30 PM, being 3rd in line. By 6 PM, they were not able to initiate my wire transfer. As I have a scheduled appointment early in the morning the next day, they really set me up. Though they've tried hard, it does not improve my situation.

I felt she was just as happy as I was to to successfully complete the loan process. Ms. Merchant is truly as asset to the Truist team.

Joel Cotto: I came to this location to get an official check out of my business acct and the teller had me waiting almost 30mins waiting on her supervisor approval once the supervisor came she said I couldn’t get an official check out of my business acct where I am sole owner. I always have problems with this location. Never had issues any where else. That teller supervisor is very bias and not helpful at all. How are you going to deny me access on my own acct?? Came to Hope mills location and Everyone was so helpful and nice. I am really thinking about switching banks because Westwood is the closest location to my business on Skibo. Bad business and customer service. I would give 0 stars but don’t have that option.
Cheryl Bryant: Rude! Branch on Monganton Rd. Fayetteville NC. They were taking customer calls on speaker phone were all customers can hear the conversation and personal info. Some of the tellers didn’t even speak and had attitudes. Did have one teller that was nice.
J. Moore-Bey: On 10-28-2022 I Went to make a deposit through the drive thru. Placed my exact Money paper and change into the tube. The money change (coin) came out in transit to the teller. After the teller stephany asked me how much money I sent it was 0.25 cents that was lost in the tube. Stephany then told me she could not credit my 25 cents. She then went on to say, that’s why Truist recommends it’s customers not to place change into the tube. There is nothing posted about this and she did not say anything in regards to this recommendation prior to the change being lost. This employee refused to credit my 25 and was very rude, the level of professionalism at this branch is horrible. Petty experiences like this, have me thinking about changing banks. I will be writing a Yelp review also.

To top it all off they simply didn’t answer the phone and forced me to go down in person to try to resolve the issue. Complete scam of a company.

Ross Hayat: I would never go inside, they only care about the drive thru speed. I waited 20 minutes while they helped at least 8 cars. I was inside with 4 other customers behind me in line.

I came into this branch and asked a teller if there was a notary she said yes and take a seat. After waiting I found out there was none and was told to go to quik & ship where they charge. Came back about 2 months later for the same thing. This time the notary sitting in her office acted like I was bothering her. After she notarized my paper there was no thank you have a nice day. My husband came in to open a business account 10 minutes before they were closing and was told sorry but it’s too late. As a bank manager myself for over 10 years and a notary I never let anyone walk out of the bank that wanted to open an account. And I didn’t treat my notary customers like they were bothering me seeming this was a service to our loyal customers. Absolutely hate going inside this branch for anything.

Gina Odom: Absolutely the worst bank on the east coast! Nothing but problems constantly with my business account. Long lines, never return telephone calls, even charged me $400 to make a large deposit!!!! Go Go somewhere else customer service is a joke! Stuart Poynter: BB&T has got bad over the last few years. Service has gone downhill and speed is horrible. Been with them for almost 20 years and am seriously considering changing to another bank. It’s always the same excuse as to why they are slow. And they have never done anything for me except keep my money. I would seriously do my homework when choosing a bank as this one might not be the best choice. I will say Crystal did make an effort to speed things along but it goes way past this one service experience.

Erika Duncan: I hate this branch! Google needs to make 0 an option. I never come here for anything good like obtaining other products from them no it's always something they messes up on. From the fact that you cannot get money at the drive through to the fact that they change your PIN number at random. I just came in here and it took a banker almost 8 min to acknowledge me. One gentleman sat in the office and looked like his feet was kicked up, he looked very relaxed in a professional environment. Another lady walked pass me never greeted me got whatever she needed and continued about her business. REMIND YOU I WAS THE ONLY ONE HERE! Nate was the exception once he realized I was in the lobby he was very friendly and assisted me fairly quickly. Every time I come in here it ls awful. This bank lacks forward thinking and there is no progression. I am going back to Wells Fargo were they at least try to think about convienencing the customer First.

Cramer Gallimore: This is an excellent branch of the Branch Banking and Trust bank. It is conveniently located at the huge Walmart Center in western Cumberland County near the hope county line. Very friendly people. The manager is always present and attentive. I've always gotten great service here.

In about a day she called me and let me know what we had been pre-approved for and sent us house shopping. We found a home within a few days and set the ball in motion. She answered all my questions as we are a first-time buyer. She sent me all the required documentation and I sent it back, and then called with questions. She never made it seem like my questions or concerns were not worth her time. She called weekends and nights on her time, so we stayed on track with our purchase. A very professional and knowledgeable loan officer. The process was quick and right where we wanted and needed. She has been a rock for my wife and I with our first home. Would highly recommend and have to our friends that are starting the home buying process.

Michele Mullins: The 5 stars are not for Truist but for Tonya in Hope Mills; She is the branch manger at Hope Mills branch, has been a terrific help in getting things moving with their research dept. I was at my wits end with trying to get someone from Truist to call me back. No one at the 800 number could help. The branch I used to deal with no longer exits so called the Main Branch. No one at the Westwood, Main branch returns calls and the branch manger's voice mail says it is May 8th when it was really June 20th. Left him voice mails on his work and mobile numbers, never got a call back. Left voice mail on the main line mailbox because they were too busy to answer the phone in the branch and again no one returns phone calls. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired--even if you were a BB&T "Gold" customer.Called Hope Mills and asked for branch manger. I had to hold for a little while but no big deal. Tonya immediately knew what to do and who to contact and she called me back, just like she promised she would. Everything happened just like she said it would and now problem solved. Not to get into detail but this was an issued caused by BB&T from 8 years ago.Also thanks to Destiny in the St. Paul's branch, she put in a written request for this issue and was told that it would take until July 7th for them to get to it. That is when I called Tonya who worked a small miracle. Cannot say that I would recommend Truist to anyone that needed a bank but I would definitely recommend contacting Tonya if you have an issue.

Rather than take responsibility for their errors they will blame you for them being stolen! Also their new policy of someone can deposit a check or money order into my account but they cannot deposit cash?? BB&T you are worse than CresCom and they are bad!!!!!!! Will never do business with you again and I am telling everyone I know not to do business with you either!
Jo Buxton: Racist they ARE! My mother went to this bank’s drive thru and the banker waited on others before her even tho she was there before the others. Then was asked if she had an account there, when her name was clearly printed on the check for cashing(they don’t do atm/debit cards). And when my mother got home she notice that her DL was cut smooth in half!!! They better be glad I don’t live in Hope Mills! The next time she goes there I will be there.

Timothy Fitzgerald: People are nice but they can't do anything about fees. I was trying to have a savings account but things came up and charged me $60 for not having the minimum balance in it. Their app is great, but that is the only good thing they have.

Jay McClung: Today, 09/07/2017, @ 10:50 am I was depositing cash via ATM. I loaded the money in and received an error. It stated "sorry, unable....". It took my money with out depositing it and providing the requested eReceipt. I called BB&T and was bounced around and given no turn around time. Still on hold 20 minutes and counting.
SSC: BB&T has some sketchy fees, but it makes them more money
