Lee Brothers Martial Arts: what do users think?
Roxette Pérez: My daughter has attended at Lee Brothers since 2020, she was 6y/o when she started this path. I’m very satisfied with the treatment she receives from their master and instructors, they are professional, friendly and respectfully. She is excited to get her first degree as Junior Deputy Black Belt 🥋it’s not an easy path, but their instructor help her to achieve her goals everyday. Thanks everyone at Lee Brothers Tae Kwon Do 🙂.
Andrea McBride: Lee Brothers is the BEST. My children love it here. The instructors are very kind and respectful of the children as individuals; they treat them well. The Masters get to know each child so they can bring them to their own highest level of success, not force them to fit the average of the group. I strongly encourage you to try this school before signing up anywhere else.
Jeweleon Jones: Engaged, thoughtful, experienced and caring instructors have been a gift to our child. Thankful to have found this community and would highly recommend it!
Bob Kratzer: I've seen my grandson listen, focus, pay attention better, and grow into a respectful young man while being physically active and learning Tae Kwon Do. My grandson has made friends with many of the school's students. The instructors are friendly, kind and respectful to everyone. This is and has been a big influence in my grandson's personal growth, making him a better person.
Adama Jammeh: Perfect environment for families, instructors are awesome, patient, professional and helpful….I see great changes with child’s confidence, discipline and potential since he started classes with them. I recommend Lee Brothers to all 100%.
Esmeralda Dowdy: Positive:ProfessionalismFor so long I’m looking for a place like that for my 10 years old boy , finally he is on a nice, secure and positive place .
Daniel Cantero: Best place to learn martial arts and a great atmosphere to learn and make friends. The price is ver accessible.
Bobby Fields: I have been a member with family since 2018. Grand Master Lee, The other Masters and instructors are incrediable teachers and friends. It is one big family all working together to help you acheive your personal goals. Their didication to their students is amazing. I highly recommend this authentic Taekwondo/hapkido Dojo for your martial arts training.
Anna Gaines: This place is absolutely amazing! My boys and I have enjoyed our experience so far and just adore all of the instructors. Master Lee has a great presence in the gym, The instructors really take the time to make sure that you feel comfortable with movements. I love how there are teenaged-instructors that help teach the classes for the littles and offer mentorship. Highly recommend this place!
Andi Chappell: I have been taking my little one since a few days past his 4th birthday. He had been struggling with his emotions - acting out, misbehaving, and treating himself and others in a dangerous way. He had a therapist and IEP teacher and while both were good for him, I knew he needed something else (he had so much anger built up inside his tiny body). With lots of counseling and meetings with his preschool teachers, one suggested I look into Tae Kwon Do. There’s lots of places in the Raleigh area so narrowing it down was hard - what took to me initially is that Lee Brothers doesn’t have a max amount of classes you can take (or say this age group only meets one day a week at this time) so class wise, you “get your moneys worth” if looking at it with a financial view. After the trial class, I decided to give it a shot and I’m so glad I did.Little man is now 7. The discipline they teach the kids (and adults too) is outstanding. While he still acts out on occasion, the dangerous misbehavior has really become a thing of the past. He makes great grades in school, understands when someone is hurt, and best of all he’s able to channel all his negative emotions into this sport. Five stars just isn’t enough by how much I have to thank Master Lee and all staff at Lee Brothers. All the things that little man has accomplished are a big kudos to them. 💜
Deisy R.: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Michael Najm: Simply the best!
Chester Ullrich: So lucky to find this place, my kids even got me to join. It’s our family’s thing. I wouldn’t change it. 😊The staff will learn your kids names and treat them as accountable little humans. It is such a great confidence builder for them. My kids always leave there with a smile.Me on the other hand, I usually leave sweaty and tired but enjoying the look on my kids faces. Thanks everyone, at Lee Brothers!
Vickie Koch: My husband and I enrolled our grandson at Lee Brothers Taekwondo so that he could learn self-defense. Little did we know at the time that this program offers so much more than that. The incredible instructors help teach the students about respecting others and being kind to others, all while learning many more life skills. They encourage the students to be the very best that they can be in all areas including getting good grades and keeping their rooms clean. We are so happy that we made this decision for our grandson. There is no better Martial Arts facility than Lee Brothers!
Anne Reel: LeeBrothers TKD family will not disappoint. I speak as a parent of a highly active child who learned to calm his inner wild. We started out with white belt classes and the after school program. They pick up the kids from school and help them complete homework and go to TKD class. Our son loved it so much he wanted to come for Track out camp ( or Summer camp). Lee Brothers promotes and repeats self respect, discipline and confidence with their students. Master Lee has such a special reciprocal respect with each student that he earned through consistent POSITIVE reinforcement. Great Summer camp option- they do everything from martial arts, swimming, cooking, museums, field trips, and each week has a fun theme! HIGHLY recommend.
Keith Langbo: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWe are extremely grateful for Master Lee and the team at Lee Brothers. They have been a large part of our family for the past decade and we hope to continue for decades more.
Shawn MacArthur: Lee Brothers is an awesome Martial Arts studio. I have taken Martial Arts at many studios over the years and Lee Brothers is great. A very family friendly, fun environment, but still very serious on the topics they teach. Couldn't speak more highly of them. Master Lee and all of the instructors are great.
Dale Brunelle: Lee Brothers, Master Lee, and all the instructors are an important part of our extended family network. Their caring, engaging, and encouraging approach to teaching Tae Kwon Do has been instrumental to our daughter's development - not only as a burgeoning martial artist, but also as a confident (and sometimes intensely fierce!) young woman. Their teaching goes beyond forms and techniques, extending into family values, respect, and global citizenry. Since returning after a COVIC pause, she's been welcomed back and has regained an important aspect of her sense of community of friends and teachers as well as skills development. She feels loved and supported and their lesson schedule is very flexible which helps accommodate busy families. We are extremely happy with our experience thus far as part of the Lee Brothers community and look forward to several more years there.
David Catalano: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueLee Brothers is a family that you become part of the moment you walk in the facility. I have been in and out of martial arts for over 40 years and could not be more impressed with the quality of training and personal attention I receive there. Highly recommended!
Kristina Brunelle: Our daughter has had a fabulous experience at Lee Brothers over the past 5 years. She is now a fifth grader and we are convinced that her Taekwondo training is largely responsible for her self confidence and ability to focus. Her teachers have all been warm, positive and encouraging while also helping her to strive for excellence in her practice - which also affects her life in positive ways outside of class.Master Lee and his staff are consummate professionals who truly understand how to motivate children and make things fun and interesting. They are excellent at communicating about classes, school-related activities, summer and track-out camps, and after-school care, not to mention all the complications that Covid has brought to each of them.Masks are worn by all students, staff, instructor, and parents and there have been zero cases since the pandemic started. If you are looking for a marvelous experience for your child (or yourself!) that provides an opportunity for physical activity, fun, focus, discipline, camaraderie, and a welcoming community, there is nowhere our family would recommend more highly than Lee Brothers.
Greg Duckworth: Positive:ProfessionalismI had been an attending member at Lee Brothers TKD for around 10 years and I found the staff to be very knowledgeable, kind, and fair. The DoJuhng is always clean. I loved it there. The kids program is the best.

Peck's TaeKwonDo America: what do users think?
Gabriel Panaitescu: Great TaeKwonDo school and excellent instructors!
Jorge Morgan: I am very disapointed with this place. I set up an appointment for Saturday and I confirm twice; an hour before I receive a text from Ayanna saying she is not going to be there. I understand something can happen, but then I set up a call for Monday and she do not call me until I text to her. I value my time and is a lack of respect to do that. Of course I cannot recommends a place that teach discipline and respect but they do not practice what they teach.
Nick DiColandrea: My kids love the instructors and classes! The instructors are all caring and push the kids to excel to their personal best, all while modeling respect and confidence to them. The grown up classes are also fun and so can’t wait to continue my own learning alongside my kids!
Debbie Rogers: Our four year old grandson is in the Dragons class. His instructor, Ms. Drescher, is firm and patient. And, fun! This has been a great experience. Teaching little humans about self control, structure, and team work is no easy task. Jason has come to love TaeKwonDo and we're grateful to be part of Peck's!
Martin King: Amazing, understanding instructors. They really helped me advance through the ranks :)
Dino Gotti: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismThey really care about the students and make bonds with each one. Kids love going there and learning all the good tools they are given.
Aidan Thompson: It is a very cool place and the people there are really nice, I went to a black belt workout and it was amazing. Would definitely recommend going their for taekwondo.
Nikki Parker: My kids LOVE taking lessons here. They have enjoyed working with every instructor at their level. The instructors and kind and encouraging, but also strive to instill self discipline and respect in the students. We’ve been very grateful to find Mrs. Peck and her team!
German Morales: Amazing tkd school
Jessie Tenenbaum: I really can’t say enough good things about Peck’s TKD. They did a great job before the pandemic, but throughout COVID they’ve been particularly amazing- safe in their practices, innovative in engaging students in whatever way families are most comfortable with.We attended a few classes at another place nearby (that shall remain nameless) but that felt like a commercial factory. Julee Peck’s school feels like a family and a community. The testing is fair and achievable but not a given. Both of my kids have failed a belt test, which has been as good for their development as any of their passes.Master Peck has also gone above and beyond to make sure the kids are prepared, reaching out to figure out extra sessions when my kids needed it recently.Check them out. You won’t regret it. :)
philip valente: Clean and following covid protocols.Indoor and outdoor classes.Great instructors.Professionally run
Lisa Genschel: Indomitable spirit describes our experience with Peck's TaeKwonDo America. Julee Peck has kept her school working for her students, their families & our community during this challenging time. Our 12 yo recently earned his First Degree Probationary rank. Having physical exercise, learning new skills and community have been a life line for him. Mrs. Peck is very observant and responsive to the needs of everyone (students, parents & instructors). We highly recommend Peck's TKD America.
Kathleen Moore: Pecks has been absolutely wonderful for my daughter. Over the last year my daughter’s confidence has improved - she’s proud of how hard she’s worked - and what she’s achieved so far. We’re looking forward to seeing more of her journey!Mrs. Peck is natural with the kids (as are all of the other instructors + student teachers). Classes are fun, require hard work and discipline. We were thrilled with Pecks prior to everything shutting down with Covid - and now we can’t say enough good things! Communication has been great. Online classes have been top notch, are offered at a variety of times, and encourage and engage students to get stronger. Private lessons via Zoom provide valuable real-time feedback, and encouragement. Outdoor class in the grass has been a nice addition, and provides a safe place for our kids to see/talk to other students they’ve missed. So happy we found Pecks!
Kylie Kopp: Our son ( who just turned 5) has been taking classes since December. We are beyond happy with his experience and growth in just a short amount of time. I wish we would have started a wee bit sooner, but again, are so very pleased. They are like FAMILY. All encompassing and we can't thank you enough!KylieShiloh
Andrew Mannes: Pecks TaeKwonDo is awesome! Mrs. Peck is an outstanding instructor and leader, and my kiddos love being a part of her classes. Peck's also has many other instructors that do an amazing job teaching and leading in classes. Also, she regularly reinforces key attributes that we teach at home like courtesy, perseverance, kindness and so on. If your kiddos or you as an adult want to learn TaeKwonDo then look no further. You wont regret it!
Joshua Hamre: Helpful and convenient. Fun extra-Curricular.
Heather Dowd: Master Peck is phenomenal with the 4-6 yr old little dragons! She’s engaging, firm, energetic, and at the same time embraces wiggles, silliness, and focus (lack of!) of this age group. She lets them be kids without sacrificing the valuable lessons learned in tkd that we all want for our little ones!
Brian Froeschner: The instructors at Peck's Taekwondo are truly talented. They are innovative in their teaching and motivate their students into talented artists and exceptional community members.
Asia Chavis: Great instructors
Shannon Bradley: We have been going to Peck's TaeKwonDo America for almost two years and our experience has been awesome! The staff, instructors, and Ms. Peck are the best. They're supportive, ecouraging, and energetic. The school feels and acts like a family and we couldn't be more glad to be a part of it. Edited to add: we have been attending this school since August 2010, so almost seven years at this point. I still highly recommend it.

World Champion Taekwondo in Raleigh: what do users think?
James MainyNY: My wife and I met this wonderful team at the Knightdale Harvest Festival. We were very much looking for a way to help our son. We really felt like this method worth a try. So we decided to go and see what this was all about. Our son had some focus issues and we thought it’s a the free lesson just see where it goes. We signed him up after the free lesson it was the best choice we could have made. After three months of lessons we have had a tremendous improvement in his behavior. Since bringing him to Tae Kwon do lessons he is doing better at home and school and has a sense of pride in earning his stripes. He is learning self discipline here. It’s amazing! The relationship your children will have with Master Austin and Mrs Kendra make this a great choice for them. My wife and I highly recommend it!

Master Chang's Martial Arts: what do users think?
Iliana Guadalupe Rodriguez Salinas: This place has offered a secure environment for our kids to learn and develop themselves in martial arts . Both of our boys love training there. It is a great place for kids to start but also to master this discipline . At a very young age they teach them mind, eye and body focus also respect and self confidence. The staff is very helpful and it makes huge difference to make the families feel welcomed.
Chris Thomas: My daughter went to her first Belt testing yesterday and it was phenomenal. The Master Chang’s North Ridge location is the best! My daughter has had a great experience so far not only learning martial arts but also they do alot of teaching on good moral values. The practices of dicipline, respect, confidence and goal setting have been great for my daughter. The support from Petra, Master Kim and the others has been phenomenal. They really love what they do and the passion seeps into the students. I’d 100% recommend for all ages! Thank you all for everything you do!
Lina Fitiani: Master Chang's Martial Arts is definitely the best place my kids go to these days! Not only did it work on their self-confidence and gymnastics, but it also taught them punctuality, balance, and body&mind focus. And the belt testing event is the cherry on top where my kids feel they earned it after all their training.Thank you Master Kim&Ms. Petra ❤️
Molly Groves: Master Changs has been amazing for our 5 year old! He’s gained confidence, has been more focused, and is really enjoying learning martial arts. He belt tested today and moved up a level! The belt testing was super organized and well planned! We are so happy with our experience!
Celina Parada: Mom, my son has more confidence in himself, has new friends, and is have been better in the school. This year we celebrated Birthday Party from my son and this was a amazing experience. The Master Y Kim is a excelent person, know the need in each child and is professional. Miss Petra is special person, they are a great team. Solo basta decir GRACIAS 😊🙏❤
Octavia Ross: This has been such an awesome experience for my son. I enjoy attending classes both watching and participating. He has accomplished a lot since joining. Master Y Kim and Ms Petra have been overly supportive and I truly appreciate it. Also during my sons birthday they set up the party, hosted, and cleaned. So awesome and stress free!!
Lauren Pritchett: My son has been coming to Tiger Tots class with Master Y Kim for 9 months now. The training has really improved his confidence. We love how we can transfer what he learns in class to home (eye focus, body focus, mind focus!) Petra is very communicative and kind to everyone. He just had his 4th birthday party there which was an absolute blast had by all. Master Y Kim and Petra really took care of everything!
Meg Andrea: We love Master Chang's. They are warm, welcoming, and make each person feel seen. My 6 + 10 year olds have been going to classes here for about a year and we just had an awesome birthday party for the youngest. 10/10 recommend this location!!
Erika Hutton: We love this studio! The staff is amazing and caring and creates a wonderful community/family environment—so positive! My daughter loves it.
Je suis Leslie: Awesome Martial Arts School!!! My son is 10 years old and he started classes for the first time this past summer. Best decision we did. He is improving his behavior at home and school. Gaining self control and perseverance in what he does. Master Kim truly cares about his students. Teaching with patience and sense of humor. Miss Petra is a beautiful person, ready to help and serves with diligence and love. Thank you!!!
John Rainey: I started by bringing my nephews to class and was so impressed that I joined as a student self. Master Y Kim is an amazing instructor and everyone learns properly because of his teaching skills and patience. Ms. Petra is a fantastic program manager and makes the experience enjoyable and easy.
glacies: I think that the Master Chang’s North Ridge location is the best environment for a kid to be in because of the supporting adults surrounding MCMA as well as the life skills that are promoted during classes. Simple skills like how to respect your parents, how to focus on your homework, how to have confidence, etc are all taught during these classes so kids can take these skills throughout their lives. Not to mention the other children are all rooting for the success of others, constantly uplifting one another. This is definitely a place where you want your child to be.
Bobby Koo: Everyone at Master Chang’s Martial Arts have been wonderful. They provide a fun, encouraging and structured path to learning martial arts. Beyond just the technical, they also reinforce important soft skills- teamwork, discipline, leadership, focus, kindness. We are very happy to be a part of this group!
Megan Farrelly: MCMA North Ridge is a most cherished gift to the Raleigh community. Our son has thrived under MCMA’s guidance—not just as a student of TKD, but also in becoming a caring, conscientious, disciplined, and motivated young man. Thank you Master WK and Petra!
Michael Bray: My family is extremely grateful for Master Chang's! It's a great environment for children and family. Excellent staff and an unmatched experience!
Quynh Xayarath: Our son has LOVED attending tae kwon do here. I’m impressed at how their Tiger Tots program is run. The toddlers are focused and class time is spent learning new skills and practicing learned skills versus waiting around for everyone to focus and pay attention. The master works well with the kids and it’s a very welcoming environment that makes the kids feel safe to participate.
Nicole Feehely: Master Changs has been such a wonderful experience for our child. It helps with confidence and focus. Highly recommend!!
Mark Carlin: My two (2) children have been at this location since February. The entire staff shows incredible joy and positive energy each and every class. Master Wright really enjoys what he does and is awesome will all his students. Ms. Dalia has been great and resourceful anytime we had questions/or need assistance with anything.
Erika Larson: I can't say enough about how this experience has been life changing for my teen son. He went from being uninterested in most things outside of video games, to having a whole new drive to be successful with Taekwondo! He started in May 2022 and by July he was in the Black Belt Program working toward a series of goals.Master Chang's instructors teach not only TKD, but also Korean words, and values. Each week is a new value such as respect, patience, discipline, and they teach the students about it with kindness and compassion. The students are encouraged to share their thoughts on how to show these values as well.We have been so incredibly happy with our experience and look forward to many years with Master Chang's !
Michael Massey: Our son has been attending Master Chang’s TKD at North Ridge since he was 3 and he LOVES Master Y Kim, Ms. Petra and Master Seo (when she was at North Ridge). The level of care, nurturing and teaching is second to none. Our son wouldn’t be the confident child he is without their support and guidance. There is a true family atmosphere and we are honored to be a part of it. There is a focus on fundamentals rather than belt progression. Can’t recommend enough.
Jerluis Rodriguez: What isn't there to share about this wonderful environment of Martial Arts. It's a wonderful experience with great knowledge, education and discipline. My youngest is currently 4 and is in the tiger tots class. It's helped him develop multiple skills that he didn't have before now he will be joining his 6 year old brother who's in the black belt program with myself. So it's a amazing overall experience for you to be able to enjoy watching your children learn, help them find enter peace, mind, body and eye focus 😊My oldest son was failing kindergarten with lots of 2's in his report card and as time went on he managed to earn 3's and ended the year with almost all 3's it's a great overall experience even within the school district for kids.I am beyond proud to be one of the newest members to have had joined the class as a father figure and from there forward I've seen over 5 other parents enroll so please don't be shy this is meant for everyone not just the children.I overall have been out of shape for 12 years and am currently overweight. I decided that instead of enrolling in a gym membership that would be costly regardless that I'd take the chances and join my children's journey and do it together until we accomplish our goals 💪🏽 this isn't meant only for people who are physically fit this is also meant for the ones who are mentally capable of trying to better themselves. So please come join us give it a trial and I guarantee you that you will enjoy it.Please feel free to ask for JERLUIS if your shy and want assistance I will be more then happy to help.

Karate International of West Raleigh: what do users think?
Alex L: We have been coming to Karate International of West Raleigh for a little over a month now, and my son loves it! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the instructors are great teachers and mentors, and I have already seen a difference in my son's confidence and skills. Would definitely recommend this institution to any parent!
gilbert sanchez: One of the best martial arts school in NC. I would recommend anyone that is looking to learn karate to come in and train with us. I have been here for a couple of years and every class I learn something different. KIWR to me it’s much more than just learning how to defend yourself, it’s much more than just striking. KIWR has given me the confidence I never had before, I grew so much as person that my family and friends see the positive change in me.
kevin bergeron: From the first day Mr Weinberger had myself and my 2 younger boys (11 & 12) engaged. We were immediately introduced to blocks, punches and kicks. Our class time flys bye. Whats great is the app has videos of everything we review so we can practice at home too. I was really impressed with how well he communicates with the students of all ages. The more experienced students are given the chance to take leadership. I already see the level of confidence in my boys elevated. We plan to be a member of this dojo for a long time.
Lauryn Fairweather: I started as a beginner on a trail and was impressed with how welcoming the environment was. I'm excited to continue for years to come

I admire the patience and understanding given to the children. As I watch the lessons I know I've made the right choice in helping my daugther become a better human.
Viktoria Anguelov: My son loves going to karate. He has ADHD and I can tell a difference after we started going. In only 6 months he's got 3 belts (white, yellow and blue). He loves helping set up the ninja trail. The instructors are great with the kids. They take their time with them, they teach them life skills, how to respect everyone, and much more. I definitely recommend.
maria praschma: Everything about Karate International of WR has exceeded our expectations! Truly. At first my daughter loved the idea of karate because of the outfit. I found an add on Facebook and thought, why not give it a shot to keep her active. I took advantage of the week trial. All the instructors there had such enthusiastic attitudes and high energy. The kids all come in with lots of energy and the instructors make it fun and encouraging. By the end of the class, the kids are walking out smiling and giggling after about an hour of working out! My daughter started to get tired before going to class after a long day at school, but as soon as she steps inside she is excited to learn a new technique. We are a month in now and I see such progress within herself. She’s looking forward to earning her next belt. Thank you to all the instructors, it’s been quite entertaining to watch you all with the kids.
Tonya Cooks: Mr. Rowe and his whole crew are Amazing, I don't think I could put into words how great they are and not just with children but with Adults as well! They put 110% of their hearts into their training. My son Derrian didn't even want to do karate at first and after just one week he could not get enough and now he is in the Black Belt Club!!!! I have so much Gratitude for everyone at International Karate West Raliegh!
Angelica Matthews our: One of the best things that has happened for my son this year is joining the amazing KI program. He has fun all while learning valuable life lessons. The instructors are awesome. I highly recommend KI!
Mehul Trivedi: These guys are awesome. They are dedicated and passionate about karate. You can tell from the moment you walk in and speak to any of the instructors. The head instructor is amazing and his enthusiasm carries into the kids at every class. My 6-year-old is upset if she misses the class and this is the only practice that she's want to go to lol. I highly recommend them.
J S: Our son Jacob has been going to KI International of West Raleigh for almost 2 years. The instructors are top notch and have great way with kids. The classes develop technical skills in karate as well as teach valuable life skills (handling bully situation, leading by example, respect, teamwork, just to name a few). It's a great way for kids to develop physically & mentally and all in great & very supportive environment.
Brion Unger: We starting taking our kids to KI about 3 months ago and it's been the best decision. Our kids love it and want to go to class every day. The team here is great with the kids and they are learning some valuable life lessons all while having lots of fun. Highly recommend!
Eugene DeCourcey: Great atmosphere and family friendly.Focused on the essentials for karate to include pillars of home and karate. Have been coming here with my soon to be son in the teens and adult karate classes He loves the structure, fun, and the ability to excel with his peers. He is a take charge kid or teenager and will be efit from Sensei Rowe's instruction and ability to draw strength from interaction.Caveats which stand out and make Karate International of West Raleigh great include: their focus on discipline, respect, honoring commitments in and out of the dojo, as well as a clean safe environment to learn.I like the fact that parents' instructions are clear, concise, and to the point. Instruction is designed in that it can be completed at home to practice what is learned in classroom instruction or in class step by step with students ability to quickly grasp the different skills and expand them. This is a great place to excel, make friends, and is value oriented.

Vision Martial Arts: what do users think?
Ceara Lassiter: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Dana D.: Great teachers, interactive and successful virtual classes during the pandemic. The teachers are kind, supportive and enthusiastic. My son was engaged and interested even though it was a virtual class. We will definitely be returning for in-person classes after the pandemic isn't such a major concern.
Sankar Venkatesh: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueVision Martial arts is a great place to build character, discipline and strength. It has worked very well with our son, through his growing years. Proud of where my son is today and thankful for natural and seamless support from Vision Martial arts.
Leesha Brady: I love the good communication and quality from the program. Both of my sons love the program. My oldest son has recently earned his Black Belt. I appreciate the discipline that it has taught my son and the support in helping him to achieve his goal. Thank you all for checking weekly to make sure my family was okay or if there is a need with COVID. It is a family environment.
Adheer Allamsetty: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityVery good Taekwondo school. Have been going there for 14 years.
Nahdia Benson: Positive:ProfessionalismIt’s a lot of fun. The atmosphere is welcoming. It’s a great place to meet new people. I been going her for about 6 years. There’s no words for all the information I’ve learnt here. Going here has honestly changed my life.
becca Simmons: Positive:QualityNothing has done a better job at remaining a consistent, positive experience in my child's life!! and that includes during the pandemic! Strong leadership, great communication, true to their vision, and lots of fun!
Brian Clark: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Value
Thara Moore: Positive:ProfessionalismMr Martin have wide experience and knowledge thats help with training safely.and Miss Perez is extremely helpful, Vision Martial Arts is a great school!
Susan Sessoms: Our son had the pleasure of taking beginners karate classes through Vision Martial Arts. Vision Martial Arts was looking to give back to the community during quarentine and this was greatly appreciated! Through this experience our Kindergartner has built up his physical strength, determination, self-esteem, respect for others, and self-defense skills. I highly recommend signing up your child for classes through Vision Martial Arts. They will continue an online course through the summer and we are excited to have something to look forward to do!
Nia Cash: Visual martial Arts was a great experience, especially in such trying times. My sons learned some very valuable self defense moves, the school reinforced respectful behavior and they benefited greatly from the strengthening exercises. We are very thankful.
Reshma Shalini Therala: We joined the online program that was offered during COVID-19 situation. It was a great experience overall. Cheif Wegmann is amazing, he keeps the kids engaged and my son enjoys his classes. Highly recommend his classes.
elena middleton: Great experience for the whole family, through fun, enriching, and engaging lessons. Providing our son with important guidance in family life, physical , and mental health developing the whole child. .
La Donna B: My family and I have been a part of the Vision Martial Arts family since we moved to Raleigh in 2015. We enjoy the classes and the various training available for all family members. Mr. Hasse is a great instructor who is very patient with the students and pushes them to achieve their best and reach their goals.
Sam Williams (AFreeBreather): I've seen a big difference in my daughter since she started here.
Cesar Jesus: Excellent location with amazing instructors. My 5 year old son has been going here now for a few months and we love it so far. We tried sports when he was 4 but he just wasn't ready for that yet. Taekwando has been the perfect way to begin his athletic experience.Especially for younger kids, it's a great way to establish discipline and self esteem at an early age, and they can then use those skills to pursue a lengthy martial arts path, or it can catapult them to other activities later on.My wife and I were so impressed that we have joined ourselves. Instead of just sitting around and playing on our phones like we use to, we now participate with our son, and also attend adult classes in the evening. It's really cool being able to enjoy the experience with him. Our daughter will begin the program as soon as she is old enough, and we hope to be in it for the long haul. You could not ask for better instructors than Glen Haase or Matt Barker. They do an excellent job of establishing rapport with the kids right off the bat, and you'd be surprised how well your misbehaving toddler will adapt in this type of atmosphere. The events are also a lot of fun and establish a sense of family/community with the other students and parents. If you are new to the area, not sure where to start with after school activities with your kids, or just looking to try something new, this is pretty tough to beat.
Leigha Hamilton: Our son absolutely loves his classes! Vision Martial Arts was able to work with our schedule and provide a wonderful opportunity for him to attend his sessions when other places could not! Mr. Haas has been an excellent instructor and works well with all ages! We love it here!
David Ferrara: Mr. Haas is unbelievably great with the kids, I love the work he's done with my kids to teach them to respect themselves and show respect to others

Elite Fire Taekwondo: what do users think?
Matt Leary: I have been training with Master Houman and Neshat for several years and they are amazing. My son and daughter also study Taekwondo here and love it. They do an amazing job with students of all ages and abilities at Elite Fire.
Charlene Kea: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismMaster and his wife are very compassionate people. They always offer alternative solutions in every situation. Thank you both for being a guidance to me and my family.
Selena Reece: The team is kind, supportive, and fun! My son’s confidence has improved exponentially since starting classes and he remains committed since 2019. Master Houman and Ms. Neshat are the best.
Mary Covington Coleman: My son has been with EFT for 2 years. It has been the best experience for him to learn discipline, respect, and setting goals. The EFT family could not be a success without the love and dedication of its leaders: Master Houman and Mrs. Neshat. These two pour their hearts into the business, the students and creating the EFT family. Come to one class and experience it for yourself!
Carolyn Namde: Our son has learned self confidence and discipline. We love it here!
Liz Hollar: Elite Fire is absolutely fantastic. They take so much care with the kids and help them to reach their goals. It is honestly like joining a family.
Lori Stover: A wonderful place to learn all taekwondo has to offer including discipline and respect. The curriculum supports kids learning important skills and lessons while still having fun and learning at their own pace. For more experienced students there are number of opportunities and paths to become more involved such as gaining a deeper understanding of the basics, joining demonstration team, or joining the leadership team and learning how to be an assistant instructor. I love that there are children and adults alike of all ages and skills which creates a close knit community.
Robin Willis: Amazing! Such an awesome group of people and supportive atmosphere.
Ammeen Nader: The best Taekwondo school in the Carolina's! They really care about each and every student. Master Houman is extremely experienced and knowledgable, great with all ages of student. Highly recommend.
Seung Parker: Caring, athletic and family studio
Jay Park: My 7 years old daughter has been with EFT for about 3 months now and we love this Taekwondo Dojang. My daughter gets very excited to go everytime. The Master Houman is training all members professionally and knows exactly what they need from the Master. They always welcome you with warm smiles and cares. It is a great Taekwondo Dojang and we just LOVE going to Elite Fire Taekwondo!!!
Jen Daniel: Both of my boys (3 and 5) started about a month ago and it has been amazing for them. My 5 year old is gaining new found confidence since he has started. There have been days where my 5 year did not want to go and master Houman has a way with speaking to him that just clicks. I also notice that master Houman is constantly reading the children. He is quick to keep their attention and clam them down when needed. Not a class goes by that I don’t crack up laughing watching my 3 year old. Neshat Also does a great job getting the kids in the door and has a very organized program. We love it! Thank you!
Chris Wetzel: Positive:QualityOur five year old son absolutely loves Elite Fire (has been going for ~two years now). Master Houman is incredible w/ the kids (and adults). EFT not only teaches the physical aspects of TKD but also emphasizes discipline, respect, humility, and confidence. I could not recommend them enough.
Heather Wetzel: We've been with EFT for 1.5 years and are so happy we found them! Our son started TKD at 3 years of age and worked his way through the "little kids'" curriculum until January, when he graduated to the "big kids'" group. He really loves Houman and Neshat and it's clear they love him too, just as they do the rest of their kiddos! They mirror a lot of the teachings we work on as parents - kindness, focus, and having fun. We hope to be with them for years to come and maybe one day he'll get to wear the "cool black uniforms" :).
Ralguy22: Master Houman and Neshat are not only wonderful teachers and coaches, but also valued mentors to our 9 year old son. My wife and I appreciate their emphasis of respect and responsibility.. We have seen significant growth in our son's maturity due to his Taekwondo training.
Jane: This TKD school is unlike any other in the area. It has a small, family feel; you are not just a number in a massive chain of dojangs focused on high volume of business. Instead, Master Houman and Mrs. Neshat know each student by name, treat them like family., and give all they have to help each one succeed. Their students are truly their priority. Our son has learned focus, respect, goal-setting, strength training, and many other life skills that will serve him well in other sports, in school, and in life. We are so grateful for our EFT family!
Amy Garner: Elite Fire has been fantastic for our young son! He participates in the entry program Elite Embers and Master Houman is wonderful with the children, commanding their attention, engaging them, and motivating them. Our son enjoys his time at Taekwondo and we see increased attention and discipline. Great dojang and community!
Sarah Gibbs: We have been incredibly happy with Elite Fire Taekwondo. My 5 year old son started training just 2 months ago and he has already learned so much. The focus on each individual's needs is unrivaled. We have been impressed with the way Elite Fire is run, both from the training side and the business side. It has been a very positive addition to our family's schedule.
Mary Zimardo: My 6 year old absolutely loves Elite Fire Taekwondo. I thought going multiple times a week would be too much but he is eager to go each time. He looks forward to the achievements and learning from all the instructors. I am pleasantly surprised.
Dane Grismer: My sons and I love training with Master Houman and Neshat! Having grown up in a martial arts household, it has been a great experience getting to train with my kids, especially when the training is meaningful for all of us. Before moving to this dojang, we trained in a parking deck for over a year during the height of the pandemic. Whether with 3 students or 30, Master Houman has shown he can effectively accommodate any class size, any mix of ages, and any mix of skill levels in multiple settings. My oldest son recently had his birthday party at the dojang and it was a hit with all his friends and their parents. Can't recommend enough!
Stephen Reece: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy son has learned so much about confidence and character, not to mention truly enjoying the taekwondo. I even ended up joining; it's great! Master Houman and Ms. Neshat are wonderful people and it's a pleasure to be able to attend their dojang.

Master Chang's Martial Arts: what do users think?
Tameka Clark: I really enjoyed my son's birthday party today at Master Chang's Martial Arts. The birthday setup was wonderful! The Taekwondo demonstration was amazing! Thank you Master Chang's Martial Arts for helping my son have an amazing birthday! We really appreciate it!
Marzena Ficek: The best taekwondo school in the Triangle Area! Strongly recommended to everyone. They have affordable classes and great leadership program!
Larenda Cuffie: The Cuffie family gives Master Chang’s Martial Arts (Strickland Rd, Raleigh) 5 stars!! We wish we could add more because we would say 10 stars!! Our son was 12 years old when he started TKD. It was his birthday present! He is now 15 years old. We recommend for anyone of any age to join Master Chang’s if you’re looking for Martial Art classes. They have so much to offer like, physical fitness, discipline, self confidence, friendships, family and so much more with a very clean & friendly environment! They have different types of classes you can take. Our son loved sparring and board breaking the most! Aidyn came in as a very shy kid but quickly found his confidence and just excelled at Taekwondo. He amazed us every time we watched him! Master Chang’s has amazing, passionate, instructors and staff!! Unfortunately we are no longer able to continue our membership but we will always have a special place in our hearts for everyone at Master Chang’s especially, (former Master Danny), Master Wright and Mrs. Daila!!! We will return in the future!!
Tiffany Ragan: My son has been going here for a few years now and he really enjoys it. We just had his 7th birthday party there and it was a great experience. Super easy and really well organized. The kids loved seeing the Demo Team’s presentation and enjoyed breaking boards. Definitely a great time and would highly recommend!
Erika Davenport: Don’t they say “it takes a village” to raise our children? Well I certainly believe in that! And Master Changs Martial Arts (and the entire staff, Masters and peer leaders) is a HUGE part of our village. I honestly don’t think I can say enough good things. My biggest example of that is this…In order to test for their next belt, students earn tape stripes that are added to their current belt, indicating their progress and testing readiness. My young son had earned his required stripes and was “cleared” to test but one day in class he decided to pull off 2 of them to play with. Even as his mom, I think I might have just told him to put them back on. But Master Wright told him that he would have to EARN them back. BRILLIANT! Made total sense to me….a great lesson in accountability. I was so appreciative to have that “village” partnership. We find ourselves using the same language at home they use in class too…sending that consistent message of eye, mind and body focus. In talking to other parents we agree that Master Wright is our year round Santa Claus….not unusual to say “ hey…I don’t think your behavior tells me you’re ready to test for your next belt” or “do we need to talk to Master Wright?”!!! Plus they just have FUN!! There’s so much a person can get out of this art form if on it for the long haul…but the short term benefits are just as valuable! HIGHLY recommend!!
Sarah Forney: My son has been going to TKD on Strickland for the last year plus and loves it. We just had his 8th birthday party there this weekend and the staff did an amazing job. Ms. Dalia is organized informative and super helpful. We are so grateful for all of their efforts to make our sons special day so fun and celebratory!
Tara DellaVecchia: I can't say enough wonderful things about Master Chang's Martial Arts Studio on Strickland Road. Our 5 year old son has participated in Tiger Tots for the past 1.5 years. The instructors truly understand child development and help them not only with learning valuable mental/emotional and physical skills but also creating awareness. It has been amazing to watch our son's mind, body and overall focus thrive. Master Wright has had a special and positive influence on our family. He is passionate about the art of Taekwondo and has a unique talent connecting with children. This is a tremendous value and I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend this activity especially for young people to start early.
Jessica Phillips: My daughter had her birthday party here and all the kids and adults mind you had a blast ! They are always so friendly, kind and respectful. I highly recommend mast changs !!!
Devon Armstrong: Master Chang's hosted my son's 8yo birthday party. They were amazing! So entertaining, kept all 17 boys engaged and laughing, took care of everything, even set up and clean up. I'd recommend them to anyone.
Marlo Evans: Hands down to the entire team at Master Chang's Martial Arts on Strickland. Everyone is very kind, professional and passionate. You certainty live by the values you teach our children. I loved watching the interaction Master Wright and the rest of the instructors with the students. It was all positive and very engaging. Not only is self defense important, but you also foster strong values; such as honesty, integrity, respect that our youth seems to be losing. Our daughter had a difficult transition to 1st grade and has unfortunately withdrawn from taekwondo at this time. I want to give a sincere thank you for all your understanding and compassion during these trying times for her. Thank you for the follow up and for being so gracious regarding the cancelation policy. I do hope in the future she will pick it back up and I will recommend others in the meantime. Thank you all again for all you do.
Connie Witmer: My daughter just had her 5th birthday party at Master Chang’s and it was seriously amazing. I didn’t have to lift a finger! The staff performed a very cool demonstration in addition to facilitating a fun interactive class. The board breaking and sword cake cutting were great touches. The staff set up, cleaned up, and entertained everyone with smiles on their faces. I highly recommend!!!!!!
Anna Howland: My son started with Master Chang’s in Kindergarten and enjoyed his time there. He really appreciated the positive feedback from his teachers (especially Master Wright) and the trophy that he got at his first belt testing. As a parent, I appreciated the positive environment. Every class started with a meditation and life lesson. My advice would be to really consider what a martial arts lifestyle would mean for your child before committing to the black belt or master’s program. It’s a big time commitment and it’s expensive. For what Master Chang’s is offering (unlimited classes per week, tons of staff, etc.) the value is definitely there, but I found that my child’s personality wasn’t the best fit for martial arts. I think perhaps he was too young in Kindergarten for us to really know that. So, five stars for Master Chang’s and what they are offering to the willing martial arts student. But just think about what the commitment means before you start.
Stephen Simons: It is hard for me to overstate how impressed I have been with this organization. I trained for about 9 years as a young adult in NY and found it to be very rewarding. After moving to NC I wanted to find something for my boys and looked at several other schools before finding Master Changs’s. They are 100% committed to their students. They teach not only martial arts skills but also physical fitness, and core values. My kids have absolutely loved it and I have appreciated the changes in them over the last half year or so. At my sons’ first sparring class we were putting on their gear and Master Chang himself had stopped in and saw us struggling a bit. It would have been easy and understandable for him to move right on by as I’m sure he was busy but he stopped and spent several minutes to help show them how to put the gear on and worked with them. It is obvious that his commitment to his school and the students and staff is sincere and that flows all the way down to the rest of the staff. I would recommend this program to anyone!
Amrika Rampersad: Our son has been having the best time making friends while learning respect and discipline. The masters, staff, and fellow students are the kindest people you’d ever meet. Everyone treats each other like family while sharing their joy and passion for taekwondo. We look forward to our classes-in fact, my son asks if he can go every day! We cannot wait for our daughter to join once she’s of age. We look forward to watching our kids pursue their taekwondo journey and know they are surrounded by kindness and support.
L delise: When you sign up, they don't tell you hut you're required to sign up for a minimum of a year. Then if you ask them to place you on a hold because of covid, they just recharge your card. I have it all theough text, and they just stopped reaponding.Their communication is VERY sneaky. I will go to karate again after covid, but never again to this place. The sensi was great. The management is grimey
Anna McLain: We started taking my son here this past fall and we love it! My son has a blast while learning discipline and good values. This past weekend we had a birthday party here and I knew it would be awesome but they still blew my mind! They did an amazing demo team show followed by a class where they encouraged the parents to join in too. Everyone had a blast! It was followed by a samurai sword cake cutting and a board breaking class. The staff was amazing and I barely had to lift a finger. I mostly just brought the supplies and they did the rest. I honestly think it's the best Birthday Party I have ever been to and I can't thank them enough! Thank you for making my son's birthday so special!!
Rebecca Long: We have been going to Master Changs for over 5 years. They are hands down the best! They mentor, challenge and help kids grow into their potential. They have been flexible when needed and are always looking out for the best interest of the people they are working with. Thank you to all the staff for being such a great place!
Althea Mcpherson: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI like the way Master Chang communicates with the children. They seem to understand what he's teaches, because they follow his instruction for the most part after he goes through a series of exercises for them to do.
Shruti Tannan, MD: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueExcellent martial arts education and role models. My children have learned discipline, respect and teamwork in a way that has really filled them with confidence and inspired them. We highly recommend for both girls and boys!
Sara Johnson: Master Chang’s is top notch instruction! As a teacher, building connections can make or break instruction. From Ms. Dalia at the front desk, to each instructor, they have found a way to make a connection with each member of our family. We were so thankful during COVID for virtual instruction and it actually strengthened my kids’ bond with multiple masters. I also love their community outreach and non-martial arts skills that are taught through their program. It’s a great way to bridge the gap between, school, home and TaeKwonDo. Thank you Master Chang’s Strickland!
Kate Glaze: Master Chang's has an excellent program for kids and we really enjoyed our time there. They are enthusiastic, positive, organized and well managed - Dalia at the front desk is fantastic! The student to teacher ratio in all the classes seems very low and the teachers all seem both skilled at both taekwondo and good at interacting with the kids. Even the belt tests are organized and fun.
