G Jabo: Saw the bad reviews, but gave it a shot. Figure most were from COVID Era anyway. Pleasantly surprised. No wait, and the associate that helped me, Victoria, was so kind and helpful, with a great demeanor. Nice branch.
Hope B: Just went to this bank to cash a check from Bank of America and was lied straight to my face and my mothers face! Went to another bank to open account and the manager told me that I was lied to because they should have never denied me! I will never ever get account here or ever go to this bank ever again. Worst bank experience ever.

When we had issues with our account they shrugged their shoulder and told us to call the 1800 number on our card. The atm machine is poorly maintained….I’ve had to travel to the next city/ Bank of America and the bankers at that location were well aware of the problems at Waverly Place, Cary.

Graves Clayton: I came here to write a review on this BofA branch and noticed that I'm not alone in my disappointment with how this location works (or doesn't work). Several "challenges" with setting up credit card accounts for my college age sons in the last couple of years. Several times only 1 teller working on a weekday with a line out the door. The "customer service" associates don't seem to be well trained. Time to retrain or restaff or close this location.

Wallace E. Unger: I rarely do in-person banking anymore. Given the very low rating I wasn't sure what to expect. I went in, did my transaction. There was a small issue but teller called over a manager who helped resolve. I observed nothing which would indicate this is a poorly run branch that you should avoid like the plague. Given the volume of transactions a bank handles I suspect there will be the occasional issue and that's why people come on here to complain and drive the rating so low. But odds are you come in, you take care of business, no issues and you go on your way as with just about any other bank. Don't let the bad rating scare you off.
Nate Lambert: This banks ratings lived up to our visit. Walked into an empty bank with 3 people working there to add a name to an account. After standing there watching all the associates discuss if they had time to “deal with us” they said they were to busy…. Literally no one in the bank…. They were so busy they could spend an extra 20 minutes telling us they were to busy to add a name to a bank account and make an appointment for us to come back. Bank of America, do better. Hire employees that actually want to work and help customers… this is a pathetic way to treat long term members.

L G: During a pandemic, this Bank of America location doesn't offer drive-thru service. They have a drive-thru window, but they just choose not to open it. This is terrible customer service!

Seth Seth: Highly inefficient staff & like other few members mentioned they always find reasons and refer to rule book for notary service. I didn't have to argue but this was not expected as a customer service.
Samara Lemon: They are the most inefficient, ineffective Bank of America branch i’ve ever been to. I’ve been a Bank of America customer for over 15 years and this was by far the worst service I have ever had. The workers when you schedule meetings are incompetent and not helpful. Don’t recommend going here.
Inder Gandhi: Very disrespectful and bad experience at this branch. Went for Notary after making an appointment. My other friend warned me to go this branch but still I dared. Rep was trying to find way to say they can't notarize it, when they found no reason, was told its a complimentary service. Well, that's very disrespectful. If you don't want to do it, why don't you list this location as offers Notary.First person, checked doc and said they can't do it here go to UPS. When asked the reason, showed me Notary rule book. Okay...taken, then one document met the criteria of what they can do notary on, and he, other 2 member of staff got busy in finding what reason could be given to say No to this as well. When no clear reason they all able to give, they said, its a complementary service. :) i.e. they decide when to say yes and no. well the time you guys spend of finding a reason or sentence in rule book, you would have done the legitimate document notarization.If the branch manager cares about customer, I expect they would contact me to get full details.Moving my account.

Kristen Moore: There is almost never fewer than 4 people in line to see the one teller working. Meanwhile there are 2 or 3 managers wandering around "checking people in." A few months ago, they added a special line for businesses. I had high hopes for a shorter line as I am a business owner. Alas, there is never a teller at the business window, so I'm still in the long line waiting to deposit cash for my business.
jason kearns: The ATM ate my card. They didn't even attempt to help. Pretty much told me it was my problem and made no attempt to take the ATM out of service... So it had probably been broken or will at least cause issues with the next person. Then I had to wait in line to get cash. Four people were behind the counter with one lane open servicing a long line. To no surprise, they also couldn't help me get a new card ordered. All around lazy and unhelpful.

Perhaps they need better time management skills to better suit their customers needs.Walked out and drove to the O’Kelly Chapel branch and was met by the manager who was polite and apologetic. He was able to help me with what I needed and went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything.Been a customer of BOA for 15 years and I’ll never step foot in the High House branch again.

Kevin Mak: Wait times are 30 min+ to see a teller and there are 5 or 6 employees doing laps around the line apologizing instead of "rolling up their sleeves" and getting basic transactions done. I shouldn't be surprised though, every Bank of America has horrible staffing problems. I am switching banks at the end of the month. I hope I to never have to step foot in another BOA after this year.

Ravindra Singh: Terrible service and staff. They are short of staff I believe. Every staff has different understanding of same service. I deposited 5 checks with my spouse signature and they accepted. Every time it was hassle, one manager saying you need joint account, another one saying it is ok, 6 th time they didn't even deposit saying your spouse need to be present here. This is experience from service on July 6th. I am ok with whatever rules you follow but why keep changing rules every time. People take time from work and when they have go through this arbitrariness is not at all helpful. I am privileged customer and this my experience. Probably time to switch account to another bank.

Tomorrow: Bank staff are very nice and treat customers very warmly. But the bank's deposit policy is very unfriendly. I have to wait a week to deposit a check before it shows up. This is obviously taking advantage of the customer, and the interest for three or four days will be eaten by it for nothing, and the accumulation will become more. It's hard to imagine how many people's interests have been misappropriated in this way! The store bullies customers.
Nyrma Nieves: The manager of this location has put me through the worst humiliation of my life for racism. She yelled at me that she can't accept a check my dad gave me because it was written in Spanish. My check is from a well known banking institution in Puerto Rico. It was a check to deposit into my checking account. I have been a customer of Bank of America for five years. Banks in Puerto Rico are subject to the same federal laws as in the United States and we use the same currency, which is the dollar. This manager didn't even try to inquire about the check. She just said no because she didn't understand what was written there. I contacted the central offices of Bank of America and they told me that they do accept checks written in Spanish.

My wife had important transaction that only could be followed in this branch, now up on the air.FYI: to respond B of A comment we did go to different branch at High house road in Cary but they could not help and asked that we go back to branch where her account is (the one that is closed).
Miranda Hall: Awesome service. Management was super nice but I really want to press that Anna was AMAZING! I’d give 10 stars if I could. She was very nice, extremely knowledgeable, and made us feel important by remembering little details from our previous visit. My husband and I felt like family there just from Anna and her manager remembering who we were by only us going in twice!! I’m telling you, the way Anna treated us, that lady needs a raise!! We loved her.

vgastonpr: I'm a BOA customer. I went to see if a could get a document notarized as I have done in the past although it was the 1st time in this center. I got there at around 9:50am; I couldn't see any customers around. A lady asked me what she can help me with. After explaining, she said that they notarized documents by appointments and that there was an appointment for 10am. Another lady offered me a window for 11am. No one was around. I just assumed they were not willing to help.I went to SECU for the same. The lady there immediately asked me to sign-off the document in front of her. She verified my credendials, stamped, and signed the document. It took the whole process approx. 3 minutes; the time a teller takes to attend a regular customer without an appointment. Sometimes people are not passionate about customer service. Still BOA is my preferred bank. It is very unfortunate that BOA has some of these employees at this location.

Mike Stellpflug: Beware that if they buy your mortgage, they will do everything in their power to avoid you making your first payment on time. You'll get many servicing transfer letters, which refer to separate secure messages with PIN and new account number (which can't be looked up by unique address, SSN, name and other info they obviously got with the loan), but those won't actually exist, and you'll spend hours on the phone trying to avoid exorbitant penalties, which is the actual business model.
Vincent Schmidt: Thank you for opening the tellers back up. Jasmine was awesome. She had me in and out of there in no time at all. Professional and polite. That’s the way I like to do business.
Austin Ferguson: Went out of their way to help me solve an issue with my auto loan. Ran into a few roadblocks, but Alfred reached out internally and got it solved. Great service, friendly and patient.

Honest Review: Terrible bank with terrible practices
Donna Rich: They do banking....no frills, but the general tasks. I will say I've noticed they either lose or move employees around alot because the faces don't seem to remain very long in the branch. I like familiarity and trust built myself with banking matters.
Jason Mooberry: I needed help transferring funds in preparation for closing a loan with another lender. The teller was friendly and patient, ultimately referring me to Don who listened carefully and made a thoughtful recommendation to simplify the transfer. I don’t love PNC on the whole due primarily to their weak online services but the staff at this location definitely improved my overall impression of this bank.
Srikanth Janga: I was originally a National City Customer that got absorbed into PNC when they merged. The main reason I use this bank is because of their services. I am not sure about discrimination like the other reviewer mentioned, but I have always been treated with respect and made to feel welcome. If I had to pick a negative about this branch, its the occasional call from them about once or twice a year to setup an appointment to talk about financial services they offer.

I don't bank with them but the teller treated me like I was committing fraud. Wasted my break time because she assumes that it must be a stolen check that has my name, address and I had a valid ID with the same address on it. I called to speak with the manager and the same person answers the phone and says the manager is on "vacation". Just sat you don't want people of color coming there.*Update* So why did I just leave the Tryon location and did not experience any issues???

E: Horrible bank. They took over my mortgage loan, I sent in the form for direct debit to pay the mortgage, and they never set it up. Mortgage went 2 months late when I thought it was being debited, dropped my credit score 120 points.Talked to customer service and somehow it's my fault that THEY didn't set up the payments after they even acknowledged they received my paperwork... 👎
Constance Smith: This bank!!! I started w Fifth Third b/c I had a family member working as a manager. She's gone, and I'm stuck!! This particular Cary location ATM has taken my money twice and my card once; although I was able to get my card back, I had to wait almost a week after I filed a claim to get my money back. Fifth Third, in general, is a horrible company to bank with. This review is based on my experience.
Dori Witek: I would give no stars if possible. The worst banking experience ever, and I have finally closed all my accounts and moved on. Not wasting my time trying to help them get things right--this bank is completely broken, the systems fail continuously, the staff is incredibly untrained and unprofessional, it is unrecognizable from just a few years ago. nick b: Edit : i want a regionals phone call ASAP. :Well... where can I start, I opened an account online this Tuesday. My payroll went into the bank Wednesday because of the 2 day early thing. Than 5th 3rd froze my account for fraud. I work in banking for over 10 years in my AML department so I know how these things go, so I talked to their fraud department. They said I either need 2 photo ID'S which the patriot act states since I'm a u.s citizen and not a non resident or resident alien.. I only need a u.s drivers license and a debit card. Or 5th third wanted a photo ID, a bill and my social security card. Well..being 27 I did not have my social security card on me but I had my tax returns printed which has my social security number on it. I printed out my duke bill and had a valid ID while I'm in front of a banker while she's on the phone with fraud department. I am who I say I am. But wait there's more. It wasn't enough to release my direct deposit. They said they could send a text message to me to verify me. But my phone number was too new so I wasn't in a phone verification system. I told them I have an old number that I could try to access, they said that number would be fine because it's in their system. But At&T already shut that line off...I had to pay at&t 133$ to turn that phone back on just to receive a text from 5th 3rds fraud department just so they can release the hold off my account so I can pay rent! Because if not I was going to have to order a social security card and have it mailed to me. I was going to contact some law firms because I'm in AML, and what you guys put me through i would of ran you through the ringer. I hope everyone sees what's happened to me and thinks twice before 5th 3rd. You've violated my rights.

To set up the smallest things such as auto pay, you will be on hold for over 2 hours without being able to set up a callback number. Everything about the loan process here is horrible. The website is also very counter-intuitive and seems purposefully confusing. I would steer clear from this company at all cost if possible.

They robbed me of over $290 in fees this week and refuse to give me my money back for their error. Apparently their systems don't work well together, so if you open one account at one branch and then open up another account in another branch they lie and tell you they linked your accounts together so you won't get overdraft fees. ALL LIES!!! Going to choose my account tomorrow and I can't wait. This is not the first time I've had troubles with this trashy bank and their terrible Customer Service. I can't wait for the day they sell out or go under!!!

Most people are H1B visa so will not risk argue with manager or risk losing job and send back to india.They start to even Layoff US Citizen and replace with cheaper entry level h1b because they know h1b will force to listen unlike native. this why trump not happy with h1b system because company like db take advantage of it.
