She is very lazy and unwilling to provide me with the service of chasing my check. I been with suntrust for 3 years and never had a problem. Today I showed up with another check in my name the lady didn’t want to cash my check at all. She just said this is not you. I gave her my ID and my master card. She was too lazy to even type it up in the computer to verified my account. She said to me I never seen you before so the name in this check must be wrong. She didn’t even check my account to check my complete name. My middle name is abbreviated on my MasterCard since it’s long but she just went by,..well it’s not your first name so I am not going to cash it. I felt discriminated if that’s the right word to use, at not being provided the profesional service I deserve. Worst experience ever, suck being left out because the employee here lacks initiative, and just lacks willingness to work.Again I WANT TO REAFFIRM THAT SHE DID NOT TYPE MY INFO IN MY THE COMPUTER TO ATLEAST CHECK BY ACCOUNT INFO. YET MADE ASSUMPTIONS IN HER OWN MENTALLY ILL MIND THAT I WAS GIVEN HER WRONG INFO. Can you atleast type the info in the computer ??? Lazy people.End result I took my things and left.As soon as I realized that I was treated unfairly, I called the office asking for the manager. Same old lady answered, may I speak to a manager? She answered NO HE IS BUSY RIGHT NOW, ok, may I leave my name and phone number so I may get a call back. She answered NO! She said just call back again until you can reach him. I honestly hope all calls are recorded, because with her attitude this bank is a JOKE. I asked again, you seriously can’t take my name and phone number, I am a member to the bank? Then she said, fine. I honestly don’t think she will give it to the manager but I will sure be calling until I can reach him. I will update my review as the process goes or if anyone at the bank even cares.

Ilya Alimov: Avoid SunTrust at all costs! Find a nice local credit union to deal with. I opened a new account online and it was shut down within several days. I called at least 5 times and they could not tell me the reason why my bank account was closed and told me to go to a branch. The branch was not able to tell me why the account was closed, and told me to call 1800 number. All they tell me is that it was "due to rules and regulations" without citing a true reason.

Douglas Vought: They violate Regulation E to avoid paperwork and will close your account if you try to dispute it. SunTrust should be avoided at all costs.

Jeffrey Darden: This branch charges $7 to cash a Suntrust Check with them. I was told that I could pay the $7 fee or take the check elsewhere.Not a good experience.

Michael McCord: I've been into this branch 5 or so times and I'm not sure I've ever gotten what I needed to get done accomplished (sending a wire, getting a form notarized, making a deposit).I always end up having to go to a different branch for basic banking services.The bad service here isn't a fluke. Save yourself the time and frustration -- go elsewhere.

Shatara Hubbard: Never thought I would be racially profiled at a bank. I went to cash a specific check at this location because it was closer to my job. I don't bank with them but the teller treated me like I was committing fraud. Wasted my break time because she assumes that it must be a stolen check that has my name, address and I had a valid ID with the same address on it. I called to speak with the manager and the same person answers the phone and says the manager is on "vacation". Just sat you don't want people of color coming there.*Update* So why did I just leave the Tryon location and did not experience any issues???

W J: What has happened to drive throughs with BBT/Truist? People use a drive-through for convenience to get in get out sometimes it’s the perfect thing to do when the weather is bad like today. Again today I’ve waited 20 minutes just to deposit two checks and the poor guy inside is all alone. What’s up with that? I hope they’re paying him time and a half because he’s doing the job of two people. Come on truest get your act together and hire somebody to. I’m about ready to go to a different bank. Your merging with BB&T has done nothing. In fact your service is worse
